Hi, I'm pretty new to TS4 content creation. I'm happy to say that I'm pretty ok at editing textures, but when it comes to doing anything else, I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing wrong. For instance -- I'm currently trying to create a default replacement for the police career uniform. I figured that if I created an override file and then replaced the mesh and textures with the new shirt that I want, it would work. However, upon importing the mesh, it seems to layer the new shirt mesh over the old one. I went to the warehouse tab to see if I could possibly delete the old mesh, but all I see is the texture for the old shirt (CAS part). The picture above shows the old mesh still under the new mesh and my new texture is layered on top. The old mesh is messing up the texture mapping. :( I'm completely stumped. I'm I missing something obvious or am I trying to do something that isn't as simple as I thought? Thank you to whoever can help me out!

hi! Be sure to check that the cut numbers of your new mesh match the existing mesh. You can read about it here, step 9.

Remember that there is more than one level of detail. Make sure to replace all the meshes.

Ok, so I was able to replace most of the geom parts and it almost looks perfect... except the mesh I'm trying to replace has more cuts than the new mesh. Is there a way to duplicate cuts to fill in the other two? I'm not great at figuring out Blender. D: Thank you, once again.

i would import those extra cuts you're missing onto your blend file. Change to plane selection. Go into edit mode for each group, select a random plane and then from the bottom menu click "select/invert" and delete all the rest of the mesh. You'll end up with one single plane on each group. Then hide that plane inside of the body so it's not visible.
