I know a lot of people like to add as much realism to their game as possible and many players have been asking for a more realistic set up for bed and bedding purchases in Sims 4. It makes sense...you don't always throw out your bedframe when you upgrade your mattress and vice versa. This is a pair of EA mattresses separated from the frame. One has the scores of the Mod Pod bed and the other has the scores of the Princess Cordelia bed. Both are priced accordingly.
The beds come in a single .package because the cheap one requires the meshes from the expensive one in order to work as it is a modified default override. They show up with two separate catalog entries in the game. This .package will overwrite my original Sophia bedding but people wanting realism don't want that bedding anyway because it's cheap and has high scores.
Thanks to the players in the "I Wish They Would Change the Way Beds Work" thread at EA forums for the bed discussion last September that went over the many merits of separating the bedding from the bedframe in Sims 4 for the incentive to make this pair of mattresses.
