Does anyone know where is the tuning for the maximum number of floors located? I remember reading somewhere back then before The Sims 4 was released that there would be three floors (now we have 4 plus 2 basement floors) but that the limit could be easily modded (I don't remember the source, though, but it was a SimGuru), but I don't think anyone has done this yet. I wanted to change the limit to be able to build a tall hotel/apartment building, even if just as decoration.

And I think I will say no to that. The game is limited to three floors at the moment with one or two basements. I don't know whether one can or might be to mod it. I remember reading somewhere, that many restrictions have been made because of the performance concerns, rather than technical limits.

lexus20, I came across the same question some time ago, possibly on the official forums, where it was answered by a guru that the four-above two-below limitation is hard-coded into the game, and cannot be modified. I apologize for not having the reference link, but you *may* be able to find it via Google if you restrict your search the thesims.com forums...
If only we could, though... [sigh]

Did you manage to make the mod finally?
