I stumbled upon this issue. The custom items I have made that is set to 'masculine' only shows up for male sims and not for females. Feminine set items don't show up for males. I just happen to stumble upon this error. Not sure what to make of it.

Can you share the .package? I think there is some tag missing or vice versa needs to me removed to make it work.

It's restricted for opposite frame. Untick it and press "apply to all swatches", and save the .package. This should help. Also assign another outfit category to see it in everyday category. Right now it's only available for "situation" and "career".
