IntroductionThis mod will show you how to change the text of a mod that adds or alters an in-game career. This will allow you to do things like change the name of the career itself and the titles the Sims get as they progress through those levels. Basically, it will show you how to revise any text the person who made the career changed or added. Please note, this tutorial will not show you how to change things that aren't included in the String Table resource of the package. That means that if the original creator did not change certain text elements of the career they based theirs on, you will not be able to change them using the steps in this tutorial. What you will needSims 4 Studio InstructionsOpen the career.package and find the String Table resource that has your country's flag showing (or the flag of the country where the language you want to make changes for is spoken as the primary language). You will find these on the left side of the screen. After clicking on that String Table resource, click the Edit Items button in the Entries field. On the left side of the screen, you will see a list of all the strings that were added to make the mod. These are all the easily editable text items the mod has. Click on the one you want to change. On the right side of the screen, replace whatever is in the Value field with the text you want it to say instead. Change all the strings you want to change and then click the Save button. After you save, you will be returned to the main Warehouse page. If you want to change the text of other languages, click on the line that shows the flag of the country where that language is the primary language. Repeat all the other steps and save. You can change as many strings for as many languages as you like.
