Hi, I'm also new in this forum and wanted to download the sims 4 studio beta version for mac. In the section of the page it has a button saying "download" under "Main Download (Dropbox)". It leads to the Dropbox but there it shows an error 404 (page could not be found) every time I tried. Is there any link I could use instead to download it or is this link going to be fixed? You are right - the download link for apple blossom does 404. I'll contact the developers. The Dropbox link for Wishes also 404s, but wishes has other options to download where Apple Blossom doesn't. |

I downloaded it just now. It says it's from an unknown developer so you need to press ctrl when you open it. Doing that the installer opened fine.
Try and download it again.
If it happens again I'm not sure why unarchiver is involved. How are you opening it? Dod you have unarchiver installed and set to open pkg files?
The file I download has a different name - Sims 4 Studio 1.3.0.7 (Apple Blossom).pkg

Or can Maya be used instead? It's set up to work with blender as everyone can get it and most people don't have Maya. It uses blender to export meshes. Obviously once you've opened in blender you could export and open in Maya if that's what you're more familiar with. I've no idea if you'd need to use blender to export the mesh back into studio. I'm more of a photoshop girl so I'm not the person to ask.. |

Hi posting here because I'm not seeing the reply button on the thread to report bugs for the windows (Wishes) version of of S4S. Can a mod or someone message me a reply to either how to post there or in responseto the following issue? I've redownloaded fresh and run it but when I try to do a dine out/ [parenthood batch fix the app crashes. the other fixes run fine but that one starts, then freezes and then the app crashes closed

Are you using Chrome? Chrome might be blocking you from downloading S4S (you have to look at your downloads and tell it it can download the suspicious download).
