The hair in the .blend1 is not the hair with the bangs flipped: Hair on the left is the flipped bangs. Hair on the right is the one you posted. Applying the mirror modifier flipped the normals on part of the mesh. That's why just fixing the cut numbers didn't fix the OP's problem. Those need to be flipped back or that part of the mesh will be invisible.

You're welcome aerynaldie looneybin17, I've had this particular quirk (bug) of Blender bite me in the rear so many times that it's one of the first things I check when someone says "mirror modifier" now :P

I think this issue may be why people complain about the mirror modifier or at least one reason. It really is annoying and, if you've never used the modifier before, it causes this unexpected invisibility issue that's tough to guess the cause of.

Definitely, if the cut numbers are not set up how EA's are set up the item will not import correctly. If a cut number is missing, the original EA mesh will not be replaced at all.
