There's a base game hair I really enjoy that Picky Pikachu converted for adults, and I decided I wanted to flip the hair so the bangs went right to left, when I go to import the mesh the bangs don't show up at all but the rest of the hair is just fine?? Could someone please give me an idea of what I might have done wrong?

hi! You need to check the original EA's mesh and take note of the group names and their cut numbers (step 9) so that your edit(or new mesh) matches exactly those two things.

I've tried that and it still shows everything but the bangs? Could it possibly be something else??

Have you downloaded the version that looney fixed? Have you edited anything else about the mesh? Do you have the original .blend file? and package? Also, remember to share .blend not .blend1 since the latter is a backup version.

The version I sent is how I wanted the bangs to be, but they were flipped back to their original state, So is there no way to flip the hair or would I have to deal with how the original ea mesh is?

aerynaldie, the .blend you posted is a .blend1. This is a backup of the original .blend you exported. This means that what you posted in the .blend1 is the original EA hair. If you want help with the item you edited you need to post the .blend you edited - not the original EA mesh. Right now, no one has been able to look at the edited .blend you made so no one can tell you what the issue is.

Hi aerynaldie, the issue you are having is because you used Blender's mirror modifier to make this mesh edit. When you use this modifier, for some unknown reason, Blender not only mirrors your mesh, it also (often) inverts the normals of your mesh. This makes it so that parts of the mesh become invisible because the faces are backward. It's an annoying thing about Blender (personally, I consider it a bug) but, fortunately, is easily fixed. Open your .blend and select your main mesh (mesh_2). Go to edit mode and click the space bar on your computer keyboard. This will cause a popup box to appear. Type in flip normals as shown below and click the enter button: Repeat for any other mesh group that you used the mirror modifier on. Save that and import it to your package: Save the package and test in the game.
