So, I've recoloured and retextured a Maxis mesh. Everything looks great in S4S but in CAS a shadow on the Sim's neck appears.
I've opened mine in Blender and the area that is being shaded is a separated component of the mesh (also appears as Geometry files in S4S). I can see in the Maxis image that the area is still there but it blends into the skin much better. I'm really not sure how to fix this.
Here's a download link for my .package file: www.mediafire.com/file/031077p81qx2yzn/Zipper+Sweater.package
All help is greatly appreciated!

Try clicking on the shadow image line and deleting that image. That should fix it. Also, the latest Appletini fixed several issues that the old one had (it may be one of those issues that led to this problem). It just went up today

It looks like you've imported normal and shadow images that you don't need to import for a recolor. Appletini is set up to reference those unless you make edits to them. Yours are included in the package, but they aren't edited in any way. It also looks like the versions of those images you imported weren't exported from the current version of Appletini. As I said, the current version has updates that pertain to the issue you had initially. No matter which version you're using, however, you shouldn't have a bump or shadow image in the package.
If you aren't editing the image, you don't need to import a copy of it into your package. Appletini will make a package that references the original EA image in the FullBuild files. Unless you are changing something that causes the amount of skin covered to decrease, you don't need to have a new shadow image. Unless you are changing details like buttons, trim, seams, or hem positions, you don't need to import a new bump (aka normal). If you make changes like those, you will need to import an edited bump and/or shadow - not the original. For this project, all you need is diffuse images. I recommend recloning and importing just your diffuse images.

Thanks for clearing that up! I was actually just fiddling around with it and found that deleting the normal and shadow images solved the problem.
Thanks again for your help!

You're welcome. When creating a CAS recolor, if you don't import an image it won't be in the package. If it isn't in the package, you won't need to delete it. The take-away message is, if you didn't create a new image, don't import it.
