Hey there people!  I'm currently working on some collectibles. I've managed to make them 'Put in Inventory'-able and also managed to give them a tooltip. I want to spread these collectibles on a school lot, a community lot. My question is, whether you can set an object to be able to be taken on a community lot? I hope what I'm trying to say makes sense XD Hope someone can help me, thanks in advance! :D |

I'm not sure if it helps, but fruit and mineral collectibles are already collected on community lots. You can plant items in certain areas of community lots, playground area at oasis springs park for example. I plant rare plants there and all households go there to collect easily. So I am guessing you mean outside the inventory area of the lot?

I'm not sure if minerals and stuff are takeable or not, but yeah it should work similar to plants, from which you can take the produce no matter on whose property you're on. Kinda like swiping, but legal XD

My suggestion is set their tuning to that of one of the collectibles. object definition/tuning = collectibles_Spawners_Rock_DigSite tuningid =28690

You just need to extract the rock tuning from above, Add your name: in front of the name, or change it completely, alter the code of the tuning to do what you want, and insert new tuning name and id into object description. My custom food creation tutorial might help you in figuring out the naming and numbering. |
