I've spent many hours today trying to convert a loveseat from TS3 to TS4, using S4S, TSRW and Blender. This is something I've never done before. I've managed to put the object into my game, but now my sims seem to be "sinking" into it a bit while sitting. How do I fix this? I would be very grateful for any help

hi! Welcome to the forums! It looks like the proportions of the sofa don't match the standard sofa. You'll either have to edit all bones height and move them up or modify the mesh which, in my opinion, is much easier.

Hmm... Is there a tutorial specificaly for sofas/chairs? And what do you mean by "modify the mesh"? I'm very new at all this, and it's making my head hurt. Also, when I look at the bone height of the standard sims 4 sofas in S4S, it seems they are hovering slightly above the surface. ( imgur.com/a/smzWG) If this is right, how do I know how high to raise them? Is it just trial and error or is there an easier way?

No, there isn't any tutorial specifically for that. You can append that sofa group to your blend by going to file / append / (look for the blend file of EA's sofa) / objects / and the group you'd like to append). There you'll see the difference in height. By modify the mesh i meant resize it or lower the cushions. Here's a tutorial that explains some basics of the program so you can edit your mesh.

All right, I'll try that. Thanks.
