So I wanted to make a single person arcade machine. I extracted one from TS3 and cloned the GT arcade machine. Shows up fine in S4S, shows up in the catalog and when placing. Once placed it goes invisible. Not really sure what the issue is. Here is the package

Hey SrslySims , since you deleted the subroot slots for the multiplayer options, you will need to modify the tuning to remove the references to the ones that you deleted (2, 3, and 4). It is disappearing because it is getting a script call error finding the other parts. andrewOkay, so I did what you said and it did work. Now I have another problem. I redid the mesh, and this time did not delete any of the subroots yet so i can test things. This is my issue: Which i noticed this is the FX layer, so how do I go about changing that so that it will go behind the glass of the new arcade machine. Here is the new package if needed

Effects will often move and scale with the slot that they are in. In this case it is the _FX_ slot. The scale of a slot can be changed in the Warehouse tab on the Rig. In the screenshot below, I have scaled the _FX_ slot down, and moved it to the approximate position of the glass.

Yay! I got it andrew, you are the best. But one last little problem. When in live drag mode the fx expand to their original size. It goes back to the set size once it is placed back down.

Wanted to poke this thread again. I still have not been able to figure out how to fix the FX from expanding in drag mode.

I don't have any help, but I just wanted to say it's really cool that you made it functional using the GT machine! Wouldn't have even thought of that :D

I wasn't able to find any solution for this either. I couldn't find any example in game of the slot scale being used on an effect slot, so maybe the only way around it is to create a new effect that is smaller (which isn't yet possible with the tools available).

Just curious if anyone has figured out how to change the screen FX yet? Would be nice to make new arcade games. I'm glad you made this. I prefer the smaller arcade machines over the huge ones. I grew up in the '80's, so arcade machines were my life for a long time.

So I hate to re-open this thread, but it seems that one of the recent patches broke my arcade machine again. :'(
I tried creating it again from scratch, and changing the _FX_ scale again but is seems to not change anything. Scale no longer seems to change the scale of the FX at all now. So the issue is as it was previous (when live mode drag was enabled) the screen would stretch to its normal size. Well now it is doing it once the machine is placed, and not just in live drag mode. I have been trying for hours now to fix this, but no luck yet. I would love if someone could take a look and see if they can help me fix this issue.
