If it ever comes to pass... I would LOVE an invite. egwarhammer#3639 on Discord. I hang out on Deaderpool's MCCC server there. (Link is in my sig.)

Hi. I was wondering if there was any ever consideration on starting up a discord chat for S4S? Interesting concept and question. What would the purpose of this be, and how would it work. Or did you ask purely out of curiosity? Also, if it was considered, I wonder if the reasons for not doing it were the same as the reasons I can think of off the top of my head.

Sims 4 Studio does not have a public Discord chat for various reasons. We encourage all those who would like to discuss Sims 4 Studio to do so here, in our forum.
One of the reasons for having a forum like the one we have is that all information shared here is visible to all, and everyone who is interested can view it without having to join a Discord group or sign into the forum. The same is true of our Downloads section - no membership or login is needed to access it.
One of the most important things about the Studio project is that people do not have to be "joiners" to learn how to use the tool and make things. We keep a large online tutorial section and all important/helpful Creator Help threads are available to all. This information is permanent and public. No one has to wade through tons of miscellaneous conversation to get to the information they want - we have a great search feature.
We have little interest in a chat where people come to get one-on-one help that is not available to everyone and that gets lost in the midst of other conversation that has nothing to do with creating things for Sims 4. Also, many people who want to learn about Studio are below the age of 18. We do not have the time to police a chat that must, by necessity, be PG-13, and we have zero interest in being people who give kids access to adult chat in an un-policed Discord.

This is kind of funny XD I just recently wrote a bit of a rant on a situation I experienced on discord earlier today to let off a bit of steam and to let others share experiences to do the same. Anyways honestly I don't see the purpose of forums having discord chats since it seems kind of pointless and also seems to just be for the sake of fulfilling trends of the current time. To be honest though Discord is not just for adults, you can make a discord and have moderators run it to make sure it is policed in a way, I completely understand your reasoning though.

Is there a sims 4 studio discord? Because I'm still trying to learn and it would be great to be able to learn from people who know what they're doing

This really needs to happen. There isn't enough tech support in the forums, especially when only ONE modder is answering and making the tech issues worse with every suggestion.

Is there a cc creation discord elsewhere where people could go to get one on one help than? I have been looking and asking for a tutorial on a very specific subject since 2020, and whenever I or others ask here or other communities, there doesn't seem to be much support, mainly crickets. I feel a community like discord would be a better place to ask about this, since I can get an answer live and not get forgotten about. I am curious about animated skin detail heads from other games, vroid, and mmd, similar to this concept www.patreon.com/posts/functional-head-60073113 and and and it would be nice to get some one on one help on converting a 3d anime face to Sims 4 if no one out there wants to make a tutorial.

Public Discords are used to identify and Target, in many cases, any and/or all opposition to a subjective theme. Discords are used frequently in the intelligence community to gather information and run psyops. What was once only mainstream, basic, Political agenda has not only spilled over into the Gaming community but ALL ONLINE Communities. Be very careful when you chat in any Group, they keep track of EVERYTHING now.
