In the process of meshing a shirt, I get to the step where I delete the doubles and EA mesh faces, and the UV map starts acting weird. The UV map disappears and if I accidentally delete a face that I need, instead of allowing me to recreate the face, Blender does this--

That face is part of the EA's sim body and it's already mapped into their uv map. If you delete that face you loose that part of the uv too. If you then try to make new faces to fix it they won't have the same uv as it did before. So you either unwrapp that little faces and place them exactly where the EA's ones where in the uv map. Or you start over importing a new nude top again.

I figured it out. To delete the extra faces I separated my mesh from the EA mesh, and doing that caused this issue. Deleting and re-creating faces with the meshes joined didn't cause that problem.
