Hello, was wondering if anyone could help me. I'm trying to do port of Lara Croft's hair for S4 I can get the mesh into the studio, okay, but the texture isn't going so well. I appear to be getting another body/face texture on the hair. I don't know if it's the layers of the mesh or ??? I've mapped the texture according to the Sim UV template but it keeps happening. This is my first time using Blender so I'm googling everything. Any help would be much appreciated.

hi! Welcome to the forums! Please, be sure to share the package and blend files so someone can take a look at it.

The package would immensely help on this case. At first view it looks like a scaling issue on the uv or how the uv is applied on the mesh. As if you are using a very high resolution on the hair texture and when the game applies the skin texture afterwards (2048x1024) it gets all mosaiced* into the hair (not sure this is a word). I mean by that it multiplies the base game texture to fit it to the scale of the hair texture resulting it into overlapping everywhere :p
But that's just a first guess based on how it looks.
Also it could simply be a cut number issue. Cannot say without the blend/package

hi! All your groups' UVs are wrongly named. Double clic on the UVs name and write uv_0 instead. remember to fix all other groups as well.

The planes you're having troubles with are mapped outside the texture. Press A on the UV screen to select everything (so that is all orange) and zoom out really really out and you'll see that there is a part of the UV floating.
