All I did for mine was...the base of the counter is a square. I deleted the top face in blender. Now it works fine This kitchen set I made also has a custom counter top!

That's great news 13pumpkin! Now I guess we know why it wont' cut out some meshes. I'm going to do some further testing to see what can/not be done. More specifically, I'm going to test BrazenLotus counter again with some tweaks.

BrazenLotus how did you manage to fox it? I have a counter that doesn't do the cut out correctly, but I don't understand what of the mesh needs to be flat, or how to check it. Just the surface?

simadream I honestly just took one of the EA counters and remapped the uv to my texture. The problem is the surface where the sink will cutout needs to be completely flat and mine had a bunch of grooves on it.

I tried this in sims 4 studio and it was the same thing. When I loaded it the file had things on the top. I removed all the cylendar objects on the surface, saved and put the new package in my mods and went back in to the game and viola, the sink was fixed, can place objects on counters. Thank you, I alsu did what another suggested on changing in this feed to 000000 more or less it's in the feed and I have no problems now , This whas the other step I did in The Sims 4 Studio. From another post, i can't see who posted while in here. How to fix CC sink mask Go to Warehouse and select the mask image Click the Data tab above the image Change the Group to 00000000 and COPY the Instance

The link says you need access. You'll need to change the permission to "anyone with the link."

Could this information be used to fix the cutout of a sink that does not have the same shape as a Maxis sink? I want to see if I can fix the cutout of a sink made by a creator who seems to no longer be active.
