I watched the first video and I must say that it's not just helpful, it's also pretty fun I'm a non theory person, to see and do it practically helps me alot Thank you all for those fantastic videos !! I love the Sims4Studio Website <3
For this video You have blender 2.70, the Interfaces are the same in the video so don't get discouraged. This video will teach straight forward to the point getting to know your blender, before attempting anything elsa. but at 6:40 He dose tell you the shortcuts but if you Don't have Number Pad You won't be able to use them, but ther are remedy ways for laptop user's without NumPad. I figure we can comply a list of video's on how to learn basic's of blender and add tips and trick we know
this next video is on Blender 3D Tutorial - Timeline Editor, How to Use LocRot Key FramesAnd deleting Keyframes by VscorpianC she also talks about how remove them as well. I learned alot from watch her videos as well.

Hi. I usually have trouble learning from videos. Either the narrator moves too fast and I can't keep up, or hems and haws around a lot and I zone out. I'm just not a visual learner to begin with; I prefer written tutorials with pictures included. Well, this guy who has made these videos is very, very good. Very smart, doesn't move too fast or too slow. Just very, very good. And I've been taking a lot of notes which, through the act of writing which makes you think about the material in a different way, I've been able to pick up a lot in a very short time.

I just learned how to do this from a very good video I ran across, and thought I'd pass this knowledge along. Here is the video:
1. Start by adding a circle with 5 vertices, and with the fill type set to "Ngog." Using 5 vertices creates a pentagon shape.
2. Change to Edit Mode (press Tab, just make sure your mouse cursor is in the 3D window.) 3. Make sure you have "vertex select" selected. 4. Press "k" for "knife." Then draw lines, dot-to-dot style, to make the shape of a five-pointed star. Press Enter to end this action. 5. Switch to "edge select" and delete the outside edges of the pentagon shape. You won't need those edges. 6. Switch to "face select" and delete the pentagon-shaped face in the center of your star. 7. Now switch to "edge select" again and highlight each edge in the middle of the star where the pentagon-shaped face in the center used to be. 8. Press W and choose "subdivide." This added some vertices that you can use to close up the hole in the center. 9. Switch to "vertex select" and highlight each vertex in the center. 10. Press S (for Scale) and 0. This will bring each vertex you highlighted into the center. The hole is now closed. 11. Press W again, and choose "Remove doubles." When you brought all five vertices into the center, they all ended up stacked on top of each other. Removing doubles just removes four of those vertices so you have just one left.
Edit: Your star will be flat like a sheet of paper, but that can be remedied by using Extrude (press the E key). Using Extrude is covered in the accessory tutorial that Orangemittens wrote.
Hello, im Simoné. I recently found this site on the website. I downloaded the sims studio and now have trouble downloading the blender. If any of you had the same experience and founda way to download it, please share step by step how I can get the blender downloaded please. Thank you
I've had to uninstall S4S and Blender, in order to get the Sims 4 Studio CAS Tools add-on for Blender; when I had initially downloaded S4S several months ago, it gad prompted me that I should use Blender (which I already had). The entire reason for my deletion and reinstallation of S4S was to have the add-on installed when downloading Blender this time, B-| however, I received no alert that I needed Blender, and am now just looking for a way to download the Sims 4 Studio CAS Tools add-on by itself; where on earth can I download the Blender S4S CAS add-on?
Thanks a million! :D :D :D
Wow...I didn't preview that ^^ and I should have; it's so huge that it seems really aggressive - SORRY!

Hi jamisue404, Studio will install the Blender addon by itself and you don't need to download it separately- it comes inside Studio automatically. You will need Blender 2.70. If you continue to have difficulties please open a thread in the Creator Help section as this section is only for tutorial links and people who can help you don't look in here very often. No worries about the font.
Please help other creators find Sims 4 Studio and receive the help you received by mentioning Sims 4 Studio with your downloads Please do not PM me with questions about projects or getting Studio to run on your computer. I do not answer these PMs.
