I have successfully made a few custom backgrounds, as I was practicing with solid colors. But I'd like to use real images/animated images as well. I found some really nice ones such as a boardwalk, a pier, an artists room, etc etc. Like this: arch129sims.tumblr.com/post/152874305890/new-flat-mesh-that-you-can-plaster-screenshots-onWhenever I try to use a real image, it ends up bent in the middle. If I flatten the image, it doesn't work at all in game. Are there any tutorials/tips on how use screenshots? I was planning on screenshotting a room in game to use and just cropping it but I can't get it to work. Would really appreciate any help.

If its for personal use, you can simply use those packages and import the pictures you want. Remember you can only use 1 picture at once. The person did an override mesh for the background object that is called casroom (use the override option when cloning and look for the item in debug). EA's original mesh is bended by default, so if you don't want that then you'll have to edit the mesh as well. Here's a begginer's guide for object creation.
