hi, welcome to the forums! I wouldn't recommend using a hair as a base for a head accessory. You can clone a pair of earrings and replace them with your mesh. After that you can change the categories to "hat" on all swatches. You should also head to the warehouse tab and change to "hat" on the cas part strings. Please read this guide on how to properly import your mesh.

Next time post .blend, not .blend1 file. Blend1 is a backup file created by blender, so it could be not the same as your saved file. Anyway, I think your .blend has the same problem. As Studio pointed, your mesh doesn't have uv map named per game requirements. You need to rename your uv map to uv_0. Another thing is that you mapped it on the forehead. If it was done intentionally and you want texture of the forehead to appear on ears then it's correct place. Otherwise, check this thread for template where to map extra parts. Each cas item has dedicated space on the map. Another thing that I don't see any bone assignment. UPD. I see you've figured it out . But you may encounter another problems with this item.

Hi milkiest, there are tutorials in the CAS/Pose section that go over all the steps for making a new CAS mesh. Please take a look at those tutorials. They go over things like how to make a UV map and how the UV map relates to the texture that appears on the mesh in the game. We also have tutorials that show how to make a CAS texture using either Photoshop, GIMP, or Paint.NET. If you have read up, started a project, and run into trouble with it, post a picture illustrating the problem and provide your .blend and .package. Simply stating you're having trouble doesn't allow anyone to help you.
