hi! i'm seeing the blend and package and can't really see anything wrong with the mesh, groups, cuts, or uv. If you import back the original EA mesh, does it show? have you tried re doing the package? The only thing that i see.. is that group 1 and 3 have an exact weight, but group 2 has a different order in the vertex groups (weight) list. i find that weird .. assuming that you duplicated the same group and changed it's name and cut number. Maybe try deleting that group and re duplicating it again. Also, since your hair is longer (shorter hairs don't need this) you have to properly do UV_1 (i suggest watching the video at the end) and vertex paint (so the mesh can read its UV_1), or your braids will clip when morphing. I recommend cloning and exporting a long hair mesh to see how their vertex paint is composed.
