i am attempting to convert the deco basketball object from CL into an accessory for poses. i swapped it with the mesh for the eyeball index-finger ring. the basketball accessory looks fine in s4s, but in game it becomes badly warped. s4s: in game: it is a little difficult to see with the lighting in this image but it also leaves a band of discoloration where the ring used to be. i know very little about meshing, but i have followed several tutorials yet somehow nothing i do seems to resolve the issue.

Hi! Please share the .blend and .package file or it will be very hard to pin point exactly what the issue is. i'm assuming it's the weights, have you followed this tutorial? You should only use 1 bone for it, either the hand bone or one of the fingers depending on the poses you're going to make.

I checked your .blend and .package. To remove the shadow on finger on Studio tab click "shadow" and "make blank". There is a shadow texture from the ring. Also make blank specular texture. Regarding distortion that you get. In your .blend file remove uv_1 because you don't need it for accessories like this, check if distortion is gone. If it's not, try re-assigning from b__L_Index0__ bone to b__R_Hand__ .
