hey everyone, it's me again i really struggle with my new mesh edit, the tutorials here don't help as I don't know what the problem is. In s4s my mesh looks like this: and then in the game it looks like this: i tried to tranfeer the weights from the original to the new mesh. after that it was better but still off, as you can see in the picure above. hi! First i would select skin/body parts by hovering each part and press L to select it. Once selected, remove doubles to get rid of seams. While this is still selected, hover your mouse over the mesh and pres P /selection to divide this part into a new mesh group. This is because you have to re do the UV_1 of the part you modified. If the ruffles is the only thing you modified then you can repeat the process and select only that to move it into a separate mesh group and follow the steps for re doing the UV_1. After you're done with it, you can select all groups by clicking the first (shift click the rest) then hover your mouse over the mesh and press ctrl+j to join them again. If you still have any weird issues, then you have to fix the vertex paint of the part you modified as well.
