The screenshots are too small I cannot figure out the issue. But anyway it will be difficult to help without the blend/package if you did the UV1 properly.
The clipping at the feet is due to the type of clothing you used as a base. You probably had a vertex group supposed to disappear when wearing boots. So it behaves the same with this mesh.

Hi simsoree, You have no vertex paint on your mesh. You need to paint the jumpsuit full green like the skin otherwise the sliders will not work.

Zelrish is it the bright green or the dark one? Is there anywhere a list of the vertex colors EA uses? (I ask because I have a problem with sliders on a mesh and I don't know what I'm doing wrong :-S )

They have the same effect. I have not found a vertex painting table so far. The idea is generally to follow the way EA is doing the vertex painting. So you can create a clone from a mesh, export the blend and check how they did the vertex painting.
You can use both values. either 007F00 or 00FF00. I believe the game uses a range of color and not a specific hexa value for this.
