Hello there, I would like to inquire how to unmerge already merged package-file to get all cc. I know there is a way to delete some of them if you have a copy of those files, but the only thing I have is a merged file. Thank you in advance for your help

I've been wondering to. I need to delete one item in a merged package.

You cannot unmerge merged files, but you can delete items from them (however, I'm not sure if it is recommended): Open sims4studio, go to 'my projects' and select the merged package. Now you will see a list to the left that starts with 'S 4S Merged Package Manifest'. Click that and find the line 'packages' on the right side. Click 'edit items ..' (see image below): A pop-up window will show you a list of the items inside the merged package. You can select and delete them. Hit save after you're finished and that's it.

I had an epiphany, don't know if it's gonna work. I'm new with the program because I wanted to unmerge some package that are causing issues with the game because they are too big. So, if I made copys of one merged packaged, and renamed them (I can just add a number or whatever I want), and if in each one of the copys I delete some packages and leave different groups of packages in each copy, that would resolve the problem, wouldn't it? I mean, I would still have everything on the original merge, but in different copys. I gotta test my theory first, but it's a good try.

Grab the newest version of sims4studio. They implemented an option to un-merge a while ago
