TL;DR Person new to poses wants to know how to make a group pose with sims in circular formation, and how to know where the ground is (it's some lines, but which lines? Green and red?) and also wants to know how to keep sims feet flush against the ground when moving them into said circular formation.
I'm trying to recreate this scene from Voltron. This is a picture of my desired result (mine will look a bit different though since I'm basing it off the VLD version of the scene with Shiro and Haggar, couldn't find a reference pic for that)
Basically, I'm struggling at getting my female sims (I have 7 of them) to surround Sven/Shiro in a circular formation. Aside from that, my female sims do the poses I want them to. I'm happy with Sven's/Shiro's posing, that doesn't need changing. I don't want to make a pose that moves, fyi, too advanced when I just started. I just want a stationary one. This is my result (I'm not entirely sure how I failed so bad, it looked circular from above in blender):
On top of that...
So.. Sims posing diagonally when I wanted them to stand upright, sims clipping into each other and clipping deep into the ground... This is what I got from: Rotating and moving them around from that point on their crotch (is it called the root?) .. My original problem before I even put the pose in game was I could see they were floating so I tried up put them above the ground which I THINK is the red and green lines, I don't know, I know it's some lines bc I read it in orangemittens tutorial just to check for stuff video tutorials might have missed buut...
I gave myself the opposite problem (clipping into the ground, plus diagonally posed sims.) It's not as bad as before! Originally, I had all the witches floating off into the air and posed diagonally. I even tried messing in object mode to see if that could do anything, it seemed like a good idea, but it doesn't really do anything that much to help me.
Also, I'm not good at understanding written tutorials (I really only understand video ones), so if there are some tutorials I don't know about that have the answer, I'm sorry! I've skimmed over all the ones listed in the tutorial resources thing (except that one thing about CAS and jaw movement), I couldn't find an answer unless I missed it.
