I'd like a way to force the sort of related items in the catalog other than by price. For example, the floating candles I recently built is a collection of different packages, each with a different height to the candle's mesh and light effects. It'd be nice, in the catalog, for them to appear in order of elevation, rather than just all mixed up, but I've no idea how to do that. All I can do is isolate them together by giving them a non-often used price, to the extent that I sometimes go into mods I've downloaded from other players and reprice their stuff just so it doesn't overlap in the catalog with mine.

Please Please can we get a batch fix in CAS for Restrict Opposite Gender, also a batch fix in CAS for Restrict Opposite Frame. If we could do these separately OR together it would be absolute heaven and I wouldn't spend hours setting these options for every single file I don't want to be used by the opposite gender. Thanks for all your hard work and time, it is greatly appreciated by so many. And here I was thinking I was the only one doing that :P. Seriously though, the option would have to be two-fold, as certain CAS items are assigned to both male and female frames, not just appearance styles, so the batch program would have to be programmed to choose which one to restrict by gender by first selecting which gender is supported, and that's a matter of taste, not programming. For example, I have a directory full of mods that restrict males from wearing items that I think are too feminine, whereas someone else might want to do the exact opposite, restrict shared CAS items from female Sims that appear to masculine.
It would mean having two batch programs, not one, to address both scenarios above, and then users would pick which way they'd want to restrict.

Four sets of floating candles at varying heights, most appropriate for tall rooms. In attempting to modify another player's 64x64 Hogwarts lot, I noticed their "floating candles" were a bunch of Get Together Smoresworthy candles placed using bb.moveobjects. Adjusting those got tedious, and I didn't like that they still had their candle holders. Now you can Hogwarts yourself to death with new floating candles, no bb.moveobjects required! These are modified Smoresworthy candelabras (no holders) set to 4 different heights. Available in white, a subtle blue, and intense red and green Christmas colors. Catalog: Light (Table) Simoleans: 2 Created with Sims4Studio, Paint.net, and LibreOffice Draw. Requires Get Together.

Okay, this is interesting. Not sure how this is working (actually I have no idea why this is working) given what I read in the tutorial for making candles, but I discovered that I don't have to create a new object tuning to modify the flames of a candle. This is a modified mesh of the Smoresworthy candle (removing the holder) and changing the object's height. All I did in S4S after importing the modified meshes and textures was set the transform bone height in the rigging. Done.
I'm using a version of this in my Sims4Studio mods folder as the basis for all of the rest, being sure I selectively clone the footprint so I can share this with others. I've several more to make so I have a collection of varying heights, and I still must go into Blender for each one to adjust the mesh and transform bone heights, but this is far, far easier than what I was attempting before, and the candles are now both clonable and their swatches are selectable. I set them up as a barricade above just to see if Sims would walk under them and they do.
If anyone's curious this is the object displayed above. The "2.5" in the name is the elevation in Blender that I set the candles to. It's located in the catalog under Table Lights for 2 simoleans with +2 to the eco stats. When I'm done I'll merge it in with the rest that I make.

I notice the problem happens the second I batch import the object source from the AOM candle object tuning. I'm going a different route than the tutorial. Rather than batch importing the object tuning, I exported the tuning, added a blank new tuning entry to my new object, and imported just the tuning, and now my object's both clonable and I have access to its other swatches.
Edit: It even happened when I switched objects (to the Smoresworthy candelabra). I'm using that one now to build from.

TLDR, trying to force an object in live mode to let players select the object's other swatches as well as clone it with the eye dropper. Currently not possible.
The object is a copy of the Eco Life Style Molded Candle (leCandle_EP09GenrectangleTall_forCarving) which I'm using as a single candle to make a set of Hogwarts-style floating candles. Imported the AOM candle object tuning (thank you for the tutorial, OM!), updated the _fx_ position, all that, and the candles look great, I just can't select the candle's other swatch in live mode from an already-placed copy, I have to go back to the catalog and place another one, and select the swatch then. And can't clone it (says nothing's clone-able).
I checked the catalog option ForceDesign thinking that would do it. I'm usually fairly good at poking around until I get things to work, but this one is stumping me. Please don't tell me I should have used another candle object :(
Any help would be great.

It's not the name that counts, but the unique identifier. If you copied one to make the other, you're playing a game of Highlander. There can be only one. Can't have two packages with the same identifier.

I believe there have been clarifications on this site as to which versions of Blender are compatible. I use 2.78c with no problems.
