Thank you! What does the mod Command center do? So much really cool stuff that: 1. I won't play without it. 2. It would take me a day to answer your question. Short answer: it brings life to your NPCs, for one thing. Deaderpool has posted an overview of MCCC to his tumblr, here: deaderpoolmc.tumblr.com/doc/overviewAlso, browse the rest of the pages there. You'll see. Huge mod, but nothing to be afraid of. We'll help you get going if you're interested after you've looked around. (In game UI makes setup EASY. Don't worry.) Come chat with us, if you're into that sort of thing, we're on Discord, here: discord.gg/AUJ8RAa

Hi guys, i'm new here to Sims 4 Studio and to The Sims 4 so far this site has been super helpful and the software works fabulously. still, i have a little problem... recently while i'm in the game, it has become super slow. and as i'm a MAC user, my cursor changes to mac's busy working wheel a lot --- like out of the blue. (graphic in time always stays at its minimum to medium) i normally close all the programs before running the game. so i think i might have gotten some heavy or incompatible CCs that trickers something while in game. and it is dramatically slow. wait a minute ... my MODS folder is not full of files, trust me.... i've cleaned them a few times and constantly delete CCs i hardly use. but that can't seem to fix the recent problems. SO i wonder ... is there the way to check within Sims 4 Studio software (or with out) about it. or is there possibly other ways as well. any suggestion is certainly welcomed. thank you in advance. Welcome to the game and to these forums! I love meeting new players. I don't have a MAC, and I don't use a lot of CC, but most players who do use the 50/50 method when they have issues after a patch. First, save a copy of your current game's save file to your desktop. JUST IN CASE. (You'll see why.) Then, put half of what's in your /Sims4/Mods folders on your Desktop (somewhere the game can't see them). The only file that HAS to stay in /Mods is your Resource.cfg file. Don't move that anywhere. With half the files in place, start your game. If everything works, your problem files (could be either mods or cc, it pays to check EVERYTHING after an EA patch) are in the other half. If you have problems with THIS half, the trick is to exit without saving (but the COPY is for in case you forget, because saving in this state will trash what cc on sims is NOT in /Mods for now). Then, you'll need to cut that batch of files in half again, and keep drilling down after each test, until you find the offending file(s). Some people do it by taking everything out and putting things back together one folder at a time, and testing between. It just depends on how much you have to go through, and how you have it organized. Either way is a good process. When you figure out what isn't working, go back to its site and see if there's an update for it. That's something we all end up doing after each patch, updating our mods and cc for new goodies from EA. And if you'd let us know what you find out, that would be wonderful. It's a little bit time-consuming, post-patch mod/cc maintenance, but the payoff is a working (prettier!) game. So, I'd say it's worth it. Hope this helps!

It varies. Sometimes I play, sometimes I test for issues with MC Command Center. I'm a binge player, when I play. I don't know how many hours I play per day/week, but since launch I've put in over 6000 hours according to Origin. I will admit SOME of those hours I was AFK, either sleeping or showering. But I'd say over 5000 it's totally legit to say I was sitting here pushing buttons for. Sims4 BingePlayers Anonymous, anybody?

My hard drive went bad . :( I had to go a whole month without playing. All this time I just thought it was my cc mods but it was the hard drive! Had a better one (increased my PC by 3 times!) and now no lagging. Bad thing is it cost me all my mods... now the first few day is going to be spent search and re-downloading those files. Oh well.... beggers can't be choosers I guess Welcome back! On the off chance you might like my Top Three not-to-be-played-without mods, I thought I'd leave you some links... MC Command Center, no longer on MTS, it can now be found here: deaderpoolmc.tumblr.com/New Support Chat is here: discord.gg/AUJ8RAaShow Sim Info by itasan2 is here: modthesims.info/download.php?t=576053and UI Cheats by weerbesu is here: modthesims.info/download.php?t=558548Good luck with your "reload" project!

Finally had time to grab the (updated) MCCC 3.3.1 installed screenshot. Note to anyone with MCCC that doesn't see the UI Menu buttons, redownloading/reinstalling now will fix that.

Aside of the teleporter which everyone is very aware of did the patch bork or break any mods or cc in your game? Trying to make a list of what is broken so i can avoid/update anything I might need to. Maybe I can save you some time... forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/914855/broken-updated-mods-mar-17-patch-bowlingExtra note, anyone missing menus in MC Command Center just needs to re-download 3.3.1 from tumblr. Thanks!

So, today's patch has broken MC's menus. Deaderpool is already working on it. Here's something he posted on Discord earlier today...

Heads up for Patreon folks, Deaderpool posted there he's not going to start working on 3.4.0 until after the next patch comes. Patreon is still a thing, pre-releases are still going to be a thing. He just doesn't want to have to update 2 codebases at once, in the event of 3.3.0 needing work post-patch. Makes perfect sense. Regular MCCC players note: Patreon is totally separate. Free MC versions will always be available at tumblr, deaderpoolmc.tumblr.com/tagged/mcccreleaseUpdated translations list: Dutch - Thanks, Sim Libby! Russian - Thanks, Sh1ny! German - Thanks, Snugglypoo! French - Thanks, Heidi! Portuguese - Thanks, Bichon! Spanish - Thanks, Gato_24! Chinese - Thanks, Egureh! Don't see one you want, or one you could do? Let me know! (I drafted two of these ^^^ people... haha!)

What's this, I wonder? [cjiang] (line 3 of each block)
I've not seen that [ ] in a lastexception, that I can remember. (I'm not an expert by any means.)
This looks like 4 copies of the same error.
Any idea what you were doing before the first time it came up?

Hey all, I got a question for the vampire expansion with the cures, I saw gameplay pics of other users who were able to put the cure in their inventory. How do you do this? I tried making the cure at the bar and it doesn't have the option to place in my inventory. thanks! What happens? You SHOULD be able to just drag and drop it into your inventory. If not, it may be time to check for either LastExceptions in /Sims4 or mod/cc files that need updated.

Translations available include Dutch - Thanks, Sim Libby! Russian - Thanks, Sh1ny! German - Thanks, Snugglypoo! French - Thanks, Heidi! Portuguese - Thanks, Bichon! Spanish - Thanks, Gato_24! Edit: New language added: Chinese - Thanks, Egureh! If anybody would be interested in adding others, Deaderpool wrote a utility to make it easier. Fair warning, the first time will be a big project. After that, it's easier. You might check with him either thru a Tumblr PM or via Discord, if you're interested. Other languages have been covered previously, some established translators may already be working on some languages. We're still figuring some things out. He'd be the one to know for sure what's needed. Here's the utility link: deaderpoolmc.tumblr.com/download/stbleditor (Docs available there also.)
