Hi all!
I'm having an issue trying to import a mesh back into Sims 4 Studio. I'm trying to recolor a curtain and the texture that is in the file is just a basic square with a texture on. There's no indication of what the shape of the mesh is to add highlights and creases. So I thought I'd just copy the UV Map as a guide to where everything is located.
But when I open the mesh up in blender, the mesh is not on the UV Map at all. It looks like this:
So I made a new image, moved the mesh to the UV mapping area, saved the UV Map, then saved the mesh. Like so:
But when I tried to import it into S4S, I got this message and I have no idea what it means. I didn't modify the mesh in any way, other than moving the mesh onto the UV mapping area. I thought maybe it was because the cut is 0, but that's what the original mesh was when I imported it.
