Hi dexydoodlesYou need to change the composition method to 0 (for every CAS PART in the warehouse) so that they are not blending in the skin overlay. See this post

Well, exactly that.
Then re-download it and maybe S4S as well. Reinstall both and try again.

Interesting to know that for whatever reason, some people have the game installed locally only in their home application folder. Could be that you didn't have admin rights on the Mac when you installed it or changed the path. Could have something to do with the most recent version of the game as well. hum. Gotta have to investigate that I guess. Thanks for the feedback

Hi mortimergoth Did you make a transfer for the Uv_1 for your earrings? Cause it looks like you maybe did. But you should not have :p For jewellery, all the vertices on the uv_1 should be packed together on one spot (scaled to "0") Because they should not be impacted by sliders. (although after double checking, EA makes an adapted uv_1 for earrings.... meh, I still advise against it :p simply doesn't look very good then if you play with the head slider.) It could also be the weights that are not fully attached to the head bone. but that's unlikely

Hey indigo What you are experiencing is different from the original post. To see hairs like (or resembling) the screenshot in S4S is normal. This is how alpha hairs are displayed in S4S preview. Clay hair should look fine. If you see hair in your game as the opening post. this is a bug (which looks like a wrong sort layer on the custom skin). About all the trouble you have with the game. You probably have some outdated scripted mods in your game. The most common one for big troubles were: More Columns, MC command center, UI cheat. If you have any of those make sure you update them with their latest versions. Cats&dogs broke a LOT of mods. Basically any script that change the way the game work is impacted. Simple objects or CAS items are unlikely to create an issue. But in case you still have issues, I would recommend you to remove your mods fully. Simply move your mod folder somewhere else and test your game again to see if it is back to normal.

Hey there, It seems you have some corrupted files in your game. You might want to start with repairing your game through the origin launcher and if unsuccessful, reinstall the game fully.

Is the game path to your game correct? Did you indeed remove the EA folder?

Hi there, You can simply open the package and tick the tag vampire in the categories then apply to all swatches and you will see it on a vampire.

Hello there, make sure to update your game to the latest patch and to make sure you set up the path to your game folder correctly in Studios' options.

Hi Sparkiekong I don't really see the issue here. Simply use 1 package per eye and you can easily solve this with texturing. Here is how I would go about with this problem. I would take any CC eye package I like (randomly let's say eyes from Remussirion, cause they rock. Obviously in case of a private project no to be shared) and clone them (by copying them beforehand in the mod folder of Studio and creating a standalone). That mean I have now a clone of the eye CC I like. I would export then every textures. From all those textures I would create 2 new ones. One with only the left eye and the other with only the right eye. Same for the spec. You don't need to move the texture anywhere as we are recoloring the base eyes the same way than for a face mask. So simply delete one eye on the texture. (or make that part of the alpha black if your work with .dds) Note that CC eyes like the one I mentioned are found in the face mask category. I would then use the package I created at first (the clone in the beginning) and replace all the texture with, the let's say, left eye. I include the corresponding specular as well. I have now a left eye CC package that can be found in the face mask category. For the right eye I will create a second clone from the CC eyes I used. I replace all the textures and the spec by the ones for the right eye. Now come the important part, you now need to go to the warehouse to change the body part allocation of this package because you cannot use two different face mask in the game. I would simply change it to a piercing as they are so rarely used. For example: Noseringright So for every CAS Part in the warehouse (meaning every swatches) you will change the field: "body type" to: Noseringright. That means the package with be found in the nosering category. Save your package and that's it. You will find this second "nosering" package in CAS in the face accessories category. That means the root category just before the glasses, necklace and earrings. If you want you can also change the display index for the CAS part for the nose ring so to put it right at the top of the category to find it faster, or simply go for a custom thumbnail I guess xD So well, yeah, that would be my method for heterochromia. Quite simple. TLDR: simply create one standalone package per eye and change the CAS category from one of them ("body part" field in the warehouse) to another rarely used category (such as piercing in this example). You end up with one eye in face mask the other in piercing but they set the color of one eye each.

It sure takes some "get use to it" to work comfortably in blender ^^ But once you know most of the tools you need you can start thinking on how to build things.
Don't forget the uv map there as well ^^

On my computer, TS4 is directly installed in Mac HD/Applications as well as Origin. I don't have an application folder in my home folder. You can always double check that your path is correct in the preferences from S4S after you reinstalled everything. Hopefully it works out

It makes no sense that you had to reinstall the game on the other account. It's not possible. The applications are installed system wide and not for the user only. You only had to login in your origin account. I am not sure what you did in the end here. If we assume you did it right then it is a system wide issue. So normally the reinstallation of the fault program is the solution to most of these issues. If not the Operating system needs to be reinstalled.
Did you properly uninstall the game before re-installing it? By this I mean, did you uninstall the game through Origin? as there is an uninstall button in the game menu (where the repair is). (you need to save your Sims4 folder in documents before I believe) If yes, you might want to uninstall the game then uninstall origin as well and studio. Then : Origin -> TS4 -> S4S
