The problem with that is... the link in yunanesca's post is a sims4studio.com link. Forums.net isn't in the address bar. I wish the solution were so simple. Thanks anyway.

Hm, I have never experienced any of the issues you show here. Posing and animating with child rigs is a breeze (or at least, easier than with an adult one). Maybe things have improved since 2016? You put a great deal of time and effort into making this tutorial and I'm sure it's helped many people. I'd love to know if the issues shown here are still a problem to this day (they don't seem to be).
"A Override is overriding a EA animation with your own pose and do not always have working jaw movement but there is Tutorial Here." I'd also like to mention that this link (http://www.sims4studio.com/thread/4953/get-motion-override-pose-animation) doesn't work for me. It says I don't have permission to view it. :S

I wasn't really sure how to title this, so I'll explain my request. Hi. I am hoping to find a CAS accessory (that looks like a letter) that a sim can hold in one hand. I tried looking for such, and the only result was an in-game object that can be placed on top of a teleporter for posing with (this: historicalsimslife.blogspot.com/2018/01/ts4-reading-letter-pose-set.html). Due to the project that I have in mind, it'd be much more convenient if I could use it as an accessory instead of a game object. This is so that I can make an animation with it and be able to see exactly what I'm doing in blender. It's also just a lot, lot more convenient... If anyone would be willing to make a letter for CAS (or even convert this one to an accessory), I would greatly appreciate it! It's for a project idea that means the world to me. Please and thank you?

Right, but how do I add my own superaffordance?

Your question indeed makes sense. My understanding of the way it works is limited, but I would suggest creating a video for the television (there are tutorials modthesims.info/t/533897 and examples but appears very complicated) then adding a superaffordance to the computer. I didn't know MTS has tutorials. Huh... It's a lot of information to take in at once, but it's less intimidating the more I look at it. I'll follow those instructions step-by-step. What do you mean by adding a super affordance?

This is kind of an odd question, and there's no easy way to ask it. Google mistakes the word "computer," for an actual real-life computer, so it's hard to search for a tutorial about this. I haven't found any so far. (To get one thing straight: By "computer," I mean the ones in The Sims 4. :p) I checked the tutorials on this site, and the most relevant one is about changing an object's tuning. Still helpful, but not quite what I'm looking for.
So here's my question: How can I override the Sims 4 computer interactions to display a video of choice, as well as change the animation that comes with using the computer?
If that doesn't make sense, I'll explain. Over on Sexy Sims, there is a mod that changes what displays on the screen when "chat" is selected. It shows an explicit video instead of the friendly screen we're used to seeing. That same person also replaced an animation with his own custom one so that, when the computer is used while in a specific mood, it overrides the default animation. I won't give links or anything, as it is adult content, but you can find both mods on the 5th page of the downloads section to know exactly what I'm talking about.
...That's what I'm hoping to do. I want to add my own video and animation to one of the computers. The video will appear on the screen when "chat" is selected, and whoever watches it will perform a custom animation. I've wanted to do this for over a year now. Unfortunately, I don't quite understand how modding works... I am hoping that someone has tried this before and knows how it is done. The person who made those mods hasn't been on that site since April, so I can't simply ask him how he did it. It's something I'd really love to know how to do though!
If anyone knows how it's done, and can make a tutorial (preferably with pictures or a detailed description), then I would really appreciate it. If not, that's alright. I can mess around with it until I figure it out, and maybe break my game in the process. :D

Well actually I think the presets are for animations. The intention of this rig is to make animating more easy. The way I see it you use the preset and then do the rest of the body etc. And maybe it looks strange, but maybe it's ok. The only way to find out imo is to try it out in a short animation. It's a matter of preference for sure. And as I think about it, you might even make your own presets with a 'normal' rig. They're intended for animations, yes. I'm just picky about the sort of thing. :P It really is a matter of preference! I'll look into trying to make my own presets. That sounds interesting. I wonder if only specific rigs can be made into a preset, or if it affects every rig.

Since you plan to do a mega project, you might consider using another rig in Blender to work with. There are several rigs available based on Kijiko's Pose Handler. FlowerSimsFactory has recenty released one with some presets of expression and a small talking set, on which he plans to work further on. It has handles to move the eyelids f.i. One for upperlid, one for lowlid etc. I haven't tried this one myself extensively though.(only playing around) Anyway to use the presets press A 2 times, select the preset and then the little icon with the magnifying glass on the right were the list is. I don't know how to add presets to the pose library. (Going to ask FSF to write a little tut on that) Maybe then you can extend the mouth shapes in the library. What I noticed myself making small animations with face expression is that you have to exagerate a bit or the expression is barely noticeable. Collecting photo's/screenshots of expressions you like, make some sort of 'database'. So you have a reference. Other than that: start with some experiments on this (like Brujah also mentioned). Looking forward to see more of your project. I did see this, but thank you. I haven't tried the presents yet because I'm not certain how to work it into an animation, and it's mainly for posing or making a certain facial expression. It may look strange if put into a singing animation. As for the handles, I know how to move two things at once in the normal rig, so... Custom rigs in general bother me. Thanks again for your response!

I recommend using "phenomes" which are basic shapes for the sounds. Here is an example image: I'm not an animation expert but from my research and learning this is the best way to achieve what you are looking for. You can create a single frame with the shape then copy the frame when you need that shape again. I don't know if it can be done with shape keys (which is the preferred method by most animators) and import properly. Only thing I can suggest at this point is try it out on a simpler animation and if it works go ahead with the lip sync. Thanks! I can work with that.

There's nothing "tutorial" about that video.
I know the basics of how everything works, but I was just interested in the possibility of someone having a few tips, like moving the mouths l/r in a certain way or raising/lowering the eyebrows. I'm an advanced animator and I simply don't know much about facial expressions.

I did say ANY. Even if you don't know how to use Blender yourself. This community is so quiet now, but there's still those lurker that read the posts. It is unsettling when people don't leave a comment.

I'd actually really like to know... Is a preview, with the song included, allowed here?

And my brawl mod be stolen by youtuber user Simvicio. he put my mod in another link like ad.fly/mega and he change my name package mod like "MOD BRIGA" sound like portugal language. This making me sad and disappointed. (Sorry for such a late reply. I saw that his video is still up, so maybe this will be of some help.) When people steal your content and put it on YouTube, you've got to report them. It's the only way to take that person down. Twice, I saw two different people claim someone's Sims 4 music videos on YouTube, so I reported their videos, reported their channels, and I informed the people who had their content stolen. Technically you can only file for copyright when it's your own video that's been stolen, but I still reported them and their videos were removed, so it should definitely work since it's your own content. The problem with it, though, is that he didn't simply upload your video. He made his own. I can imagine it won't be easy to take that down. If I'm mistaken, though, perhaps YouTube has an option to type in a written report? You can try to find such a thing and explain the situation to them. How they took your mod, made it their own, and basically stole it without any regards for your TOU. At the very least, YouTube will see that you were the first to upload content of that kind, so they may look into it and see that your mod has been stolen. There are penalties for copyright. If he's uploaded the mod to another site like Tumblr, you can also report it there. Best of luck. (Again, sorry to reply to such an old comment. I couldn't help myself.)

I am trying to make a singing animation of a full-length song. While I was lip singing to the song in front of a mirror, I noticed that the lack of a tongue will take away from the realistic aspect of this animation, because a tongue usually moves up and down with certain words. As many of you know, there is no tongue for the Sims 4 models, so it's just going to sit in the same place regardless of what I do. That leads me to two questions: 1) Is there any decent pattern or way to move the mouth so that the absence of a tongue isn't noticed? (Is there a "best" way to do it?) 2) Can you offer up any (general) tips for facial expressions? I don't have much experience in moving the eyebrows and making sims look happy/sad. This animation, once finished, will be an astonishing length of 8330 frames, so I really hope to get things right instead of rushing through the lip sync. It'd be a pain to go back and fix something that looks out of place. I'll appreciate any and all responses, which may be used to improve my animating skills. Thank you. By the way, I'd share a preview for feedback, but then the song would need to be included and I don't know if that's allowed..? It's "Lost in Paradise" by Evanescence.
