It could be the composition method setting of the swatch. You can access that from the warehouse tab, then click your swatch and scroll until you see a field called "compositionMethod" and there's a number next to it. I think it can be from 0 to 4 and each number changes the way the image is overlaid on top of the skin texture, kind of like blending modes in Photoshop. Here's a thread that explains composition methodsThere is also a tutorial on making eyeshadow but all the images in it are broken :\ I hope it helps, but I second what Annabluu says, it would be easier if we could take a look at your package file

More SWTOR conversions, this time the masks of the Dread Masters Kind of inevitable given I used to be really hyped about them.

A mash-up of City Living dress and a t-shirt for a sleeve. Features: new mesh female, teen-elder (could probably be used on masculine frame but I haven't tested it) Custom icon Disabled for random Found in everyday, formal, and party Enabled for aliens (I think?)
The download link will lead to a folder containing the dress and optional recolors. The recolors require the dress to be in the game, but are independent of each other. !!! Requires City Living !!!
Optional additional recolor packages

Patterned dress: A set of patterned recolors of the dress. All patterns are from Colourlovers. Filename: VoidOneShoulderDressRecPattern

Have you checked the normal map and shadow textures? Try making them blank in S4S.

Just wanted to have a regular tank top version of it. New mesh, a combination of the City Living necklace top and some tank top. Has the same colors as the original (approximately because I kind of had to redo most of the texture). PROBABLY requires city living. It has a custom icon and is enabled for random.#maxismatch #clothes #clothing #top #clothestop #clothingtop #MMclothing #MMclothes #Maxismatchclothes #maxismatchclothing #cityliving #tanktop

Just what it says in the title: the crop-off-shoulder top, made plain, with the llama removed. Might read as a new mesh because I changed the normal map. Requires City Living! Features: A ton of recolors Disabled for random Custom icons for each package Due to the sheer number of recolors I made, this set has 4 packages. Each package is independent of the others, so you can use one, two, or all of them. The link goes to the SFS folder containing the packages. I might add more colors in the future. Meanwhile feel free to make your own recolors because for some reason I just didn't make any recolors with the color red. Swatches:#clothes #clothing #clothestop #clothingtop #recolor #clothingrecolor #clothesrecolor #cityliving #croptop #maxismatch #offshoulder

A handful of recolors of the Baroque Vest from Luxury Party SP. I loved that design, but the pattern it came with didn't work for me, so I altered the specular map to remove the floral pattern it had. All of the recolors have a black shirt underneath. The patterns used in some swatches are from Colourlovers. This has a custom icon, is a standalone item, and required Luxury Party SP to show up. Swatches. Grey outline around the swatch means silver borders, buttons, and tie. Yellow outline means golden borders, buttons, and tie. #clothes #clothing #clothestop #clothingtop #recolor #clothingrecolor #clothesrecolor #luxuryparty #pattern #patterns #patterned #vest

A huge bunch of patterned recolors of Spa Day asymmetrical hoodie (spoiler: it doesn't actually have a hood). I tried to also give the collar and the little beads matching colors to the current pattern. All patterns are from Colourlovers. Requires Spa Day! #recolor #clothes #clothestop #spaday #hoodie #clothing #clothingtop #clothingrecolor #clothesrecolor #pattern #patterns

Hi! I looked at your mesh both in CAS and in the game, and I haven't noticed the zoom-out thing because as people above me said, the game usually switches LOD meshes pretty quick and the sim is barely visible from that distance anyway. I did notice a seam on top of the shoulder\neck area that is evident in CAS, as well as one in the armpit area. Those seams could be what was causing the shading issue.
The seams can be fixed by selecting two vertices in Edit Mode of Blender that are near and you want to stitch into one, pressing Alt+M, and then selecting one of the options from the dropdown list that appears.
