If the path is correctly set up as shown on the screenshot it should work. Unless you cracked the game. It was working perfectly fine before the update in December.

Please read the following posted by another user: For Mac Users:For an hour and a half, I went through this thread trying every one of the different suggestions until I decided to mess a little bit more with this before I finally gave up. I went to Finder>Documents and searched at the top right corner "Electronic Arts". The first things that came up were many blue folders of The Sims 4 that I had been clicking. After scrolling through most of them, I found an actual Sims 4 application (that wasn't in my Applications folder) with the Isms 4 logo on it. I click once and open it in S4S, and it worked!!! I hope this helps others, I'm just so happy I get to create some CC again! Happy New Year! :D Doesn't work.

I think I know a solution around this if its still haven't solved yet! I'm a Mac user and I used to have this problem too! so all you have to do is locate your The Sims 4 game application, and change its location to Applications on Mac, restart Sims4Studio and there it should fix the problem! I tried it and it works and I hope it works for you as well. I'm confused, could you explain more?

I'm having the same issue on win7. S4S was working fine right after the C&Ds update, I made some cc and such. But now when I open the program, I always get the same error: Unable to find The Sims 4. It doesn't matter how many times I set the (always correct) settings. It changes nothing. When I do try to change the filepath, it pops up saying "Please report this." Nothing shows up, no game content, no cc. I'm royally screwed. :( I think it may be the latest update that's causing the issue. I didn't have this problem in November.

Can you share a screenshot of your path settings? You can upload the image to imgur.com and paste the link here.

Hello! Maybe I misunderstood your message, but are you having issues with the game itself or the studio? Sims 4 Studio.

Of course it exists on mac The game launches through origin but it is still installed separately in the programs. Just use the settings in S4S to give the path to your sims 4 game which is located under : Applications/Programs (not sure how they named it in english on Mac) Sims 4 Studio cannot find path. I know where Sims 4 is located in my computer, and the path is already set. When I try and create, it asks for path that's already set, then it says error. No, it doesn't give an error number. I didn't have this problem before the latest update.
