The second window is supposed to be replaced by the UV/Image editor. I've checked your .blend, clicked the white box, selected the UV/Image Editor on the resulting list of choices, and the UV/Image editor replaced your second mesh view with no problem. What happens when you click the white box and select UV/Image Editor from the list?

missiepooh45 it's what you need, to have 3D view on the right and UV map editor on the left. Right now you have 2 3D view windows open, when you press that small cube closer to the bottom left corner of the program you will open UV editor where you need to edit UV map of new item (starting from step #14). After step 13 it should look like this:

Hello, I have been trying to complete the above mentioned for days. When I get to Part III #13 I click the small white cube to open the UV/Image Editor and it makes the second mesh window close from the direction in #12. Can you please give me direction on how to keep all of them open so that I can FINALLY complete this. OMG, I have been working on this for this for days . Thank you! missiepooh45 you append blender file that you created separately. If you worked in another program like 3DS Max you need to import the item (I use .fbx format when I export items from 3DS Max). What program did you use to create your accessory? I did not create a file I thought that this was showing me how to do it. Thanks for the clarification.
