*Insert mental screaming* (ノ゜∇゜)ノ
WELP, that's enough Sims 4 for tonight. Still haven't figured out what I did to make this dress go wonky but I pretty much made this worse with another attempt.
Looks like something out of my nightmares. Having a hard time making a bump for this dress to since I can't seem to find the correct working Photoshop plugin to make it easer than opening in paint.net then saving it as a psd file then opening it in photoshop to to edit it. Either way, it seems like the bump isn't the biggest problem here.

So, thought I was doing pretty good in making a new mesh an dplaying around in blender and got this due to a rather cute outfit I saw, thought I finally succeeded, but then I saw it in game and– FTTTTTTTTTTTTT----soclose Orz Think it might have been something in blender I screwed up, but I'm not exactly sure what it is though, which I'm assuming has something to do with a mesh group? Then there's also the bump map. Though I made a new one for some reason it had color all in it and I'm not entirely sure how to get rid of that unless maybe I save it as a image and pull it back into photoshop to emboss it. Blender File
Mesh Package
If anyone wants to take a look see and see if they can help me out with that.

Freezerbunny T is SO adorable. Thanks for sharing I love it =) Thank you! Seems like my townies do too I've been seeing more than a handful of them wearing it. (And mismatching with all sorts of clothing.)

Hi simour, the new top came out looking fabulous! I apologize for the late response to the question you asked in another thread about this top. The reason you were receiving that error is because you inadvertently imported the new texture image to overwrite one of the meshes. This caused the .package to become corrupt. To avoid this in the future make sure that when you're importing images only import them to overwrite other images. The game will not accept an image in place of a mesh and it really confused Studio too Many thanks! Oh! I'm not sure how that happened really, because I didn't import it to the mesh, so I wasn't sure what was happened. Thought I probably imported the texture soon quickly before paint.net could finish processing with saving the DDS. I figured I'd just get rid of the swatch and do it over again. Thank you for your response~! Though I do have a question. I did import my custom thumbnail and for th appropriate size, but it still isn't showing up. I see it in studio but not in-game

Second piece of CC, which is also a new mesh. Had to re-upload a new swatch due to an error I received when testing it. Played around with it and I got this little number. Good for a everyday top or maybe even a night out on the town. Or just that attention getter. <3 Comes in 5 Colors.Teen/YA/Adult/ElderDownload Here.
Edit: Had to delete a shadow off the shirts that was from the dress I shortened to the top. Only noticed it when it clipped with certain bottom clothing. So if you downloaded make sure to just re-download and replace the package.

Working on this shirt a bit and trying my hand at making simple meshes from full body clothing and all. Been fiddling with it for awhile, should have been in bed hours ago. Fuu---

anoherm, EA garments actually consist of the garment and the body parts that are not covered by the garment in the game. If your work has resulted in a gap between the garment and the Sim's body you have removed a portion of the body parts that should have been retained. simour, I think the issue you're having is that there is very little difference between the top you're trying to create and the top you're trying to replace so it's difficult to spot the change once you import the new .blend. It *is* actually importing your new item though. Here are your top and EA's original top in Blender shown without any texture to distract your eye: You will note that these two items are very, very similar. There is a subtle difference in the breast area because the original EA blouse uses the nude top unchanged and creates the garment by using texture alone, ie. it is a skin tight garment. Yours is based on a garment that does have a slight alteration to the nude top in that the area between the breasts is less deep to give the garment the appearance of stretching across that area as opposed to having no fabric there like the original skin tight blouse. After importing your .blend into the .package you sent you can see the slight change between the breasts...instead of being delineated clearly for the skin tight blouse the indentation between the breasts is more shallow to simulate fabric stretching across this area between the breasts. Import your texture into the .package and you should see the change a little more clearly although it is a subtle change. You will note that the poly count changes too. Oh I see, now I understand. I was wondering since I didn't see a largely BIG diffference with it like you said. I managed to get it to my liking now thank you, though for whatever reason I think I replaced the dress by accident somehow even though I chose standalone mesh. Did I actually replace the dress because I didn't see it anywhere in my create a sim game.

Very nice tutorial, though I thought I followed this carefully step by step. Didn't seem too difficult. I couldn't get it to work as you described. I wanted to do a top and cut down the dress, but it's still not showin gup. Even started fresh a new, twice and still not sure what I did. I did change the cut # like you said, so I'm not entirely sure where I messed up at. Some help or suggestions? I tried a nude top and then I tried a regular shorter top as well, both with a cut # of 0000. Each mesh only had one mesh group so I don't know if that makes a big difference? Here's the blender file. HereShirt I was using. Here

Finally got the shirt working in my game. I'm gushing about my first piece of content. I love it to pieces. Download is available here if anyone wants it in their game. Comes in two available swatches. Base game compatible. Teen/YA/A/Elder Females
