The issue of availability in restaurant may be due to the SimData file. You need to update the name, retail price, "name", "recipe description", "recipe menu icon definition". You might also want to adjust the "recipe tags" to appear at breakfast/lunch/dinner. I thought I had a list of them somewhere, but I can't find it. I have no experience with child cooking, so I have no idea about that.

There is indeed a way. It requires the creation of an ico mesh inserted into the object and the id inserted into the object. Download the watermelon slice food pkg in Leniad's cupboard and see how I put it together. This is a very advanced process, so I haven't written a tutorial. Give it a try and I can answer questions to walk you through it. Good luck.

Create hexids for your categories Go to string table english Add those ids Open string table english add the text you want displayed in each id you just added copy string table to all languages to insert those ids in all language tables -it will add the english text if you want to add translated text to another language, open that language string and update the text

As far as I know, each cake needs its own pkg and textures. Sorry about that. You can clone the white cake (BG) for your base mesh/textures or clone the lemon cake I created. Good luck

Yes, apple pie is selected for the mesh for apple pie. If you want another mesh, then choose that.

I think the snippet is fine. Alterations in the expansions have probably changed the functionality of the drinks. I updated most of the food to correct that a long time ago, but never updated the drinks.

Don't know how to do that, but I would examine how necrodog made his animated musicbox and/or compare the structure of several menu creating objects to find the common denominators. Good luck.

To my knowledge there is not. There are lines in the recipes to choose saucepans/objects to use in the recipes. To add a recipe in a menu, this is done in the snippet. I wrote a tutorial on snippet tuning. Hope that helps.

You need the snippet for it to work. The snippet connects the food to the menu. Multi is the object large, the recipe is named large. In image below shows exporting snippet. Make selection on left side of S4S screen for ANY entry in this way to export.

First 3 question marks - EA recipes, no ingredients required. Last question mark - Sim does not have required ingredient in inventory
