The expander menus are fine. The craft script is all that is broken - replace one file is all that will be required - once it is updated.

bar recipes don't require cooking skill Most liquors are lvl 7 cooking I think

you only need to change the category and recipe ids in snippet in your food item, text will appear
export a copy of existing snippet, rename (using hex64 of new name as instance number) example:

I think the buy ingredients is the problem. Ingredients must be in sim's inventory, not refrigerator. I think if you are using a mod to buy ingredients, that might be the problem. It sounds like you are doing everything else properly.
