Thanks for the quick reply, andrew. Yes, I'm on the current version, I just downloaded and installed it last night. I haven't yet tried creating a new package, though - will do that asap.
EDIT: Thank you so much again, that drove me nuts! It works splendidly now.

Hey folks,
I have a mod that modifies the Sim Data Tuning file:
Client_CASTuning_Human
When trying to update this mod after the Werewolves Pack came out, I discovered that there is an issue when altering this file using Sims 4 Studio.
Every time I save the file, Studio alters values without me doing it or being able to prevent or at least correct it in any way.
For instance, in line 29
<T name="MinCameraDistanceHead">0.0125</T>
autonomously changes to
<T name="MinCameraDistanceHead">125</T>
and there is nothing I can do to get the proper values back again.
I was hoping this would be fixed with the High School Years update of Sims 4 Studio, but it still is an issue.
I hope someone can suggest a temporary solution on how I can get the my tuning files into a package file without them being changed (I had been working with sim4pe years ago, but I'm not aware of any other tool that is able to do this and sim4pe is long outdated).
Thanks in advance and have a wonderful weekend!

I'm struck at step 9 of this great tutorial. When I click decompile_all, I just get Process finished with exit code 0. The reason might be that I have to change the settings of my mods_folder and game_folder first as the default settings don't seem to be right, but I'm unsure of how to do it. My Mods folder ist located at: E:\Eigene Dateien\Electronic Arts\Die Sims 4\Mods My Game folder ist located at: C:\Program Files (x86)\EA\The Sims 4 How do I write that in the settings.py? Thanks in advance for anyone who might offer some help.
EDIT: Never mind, I got it to work as soon as I had posted. I had to change the settings.py to
mods_folder = os.path.expanduser( os.path.join('E:', os.sep, 'Eigene Dateien', 'Electronic Arts', 'Die Sims 4', 'Mods') )
game_folder = os.path.join('C:', os.sep, 'Program Files (x86)', 'EA', 'The Sims 4')

Me, too. :( By the way, is there already an update to include the Seasons EP?

I can't check it at the moment, but if I should venture a wild guess, I think it is related to some tag/style-tag that classifies the painting as a build-object, as several build items cannot be recoloured as well (fences, trims ... food). If it was my project I probably would rather make a seperate frame instead of messing with the original object. Something like the frames Jool made a while back. Are you familiar with those by any chance? I´m familiar with Jool´s picture frames, yes. They´re great, but I just wanted a simple default override to match my photo frame overrides. They´re classified as paintings by tags and clearing the style tag has no effect on the recolors (I already tried that before posting her). There is an "unused 2" entry two lines below the tags (in ObjectCatalog) that is set to 1 for my photo frames and to 0 for the painting frame but if I change that value and save, Sims 4 Studio doesn´t recognize the change. Well, if it´s not possible, I´ll leave it to that, I will not make another seperate frame. there are already enough. Thanks a lot for your reply.

I wish to make an override of a base game object (painting) that is not recolourable by default.
I made the override and added swatches like you would normally do, but there is no color choice option for that painting in build mode. I still get the tooltip that design tool is disabled for the object.
Are there any suggestions on how I can fix that and still keep the object as a default override?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I´ve got the first problem. I delited my Sims 4 Studio folder twice, but Studio still doesn´t find the new content. Any suggestions, orangemittens ? Edit: Never mind. Posting my issue helped. I tried two more times and now Studio eventually found the Get Together stuff.

I´m not sure at all whether this is the right place to post this, but I made an advent calendar (mostly) using Sims 4 Studio and the wonderful tutorials posted here so I thought I might share the link and say thank you to you folks. Here it is: www.bienchen83.bplaced.net/s4/Adventskalender.htm

Thank you very much, orangemitten. I´ve already finished my project using a workaround, but I´m sure I will make use of your tutorial for future projects.
