Hello everyone, I have a little problem. I made an iPad model. It looks normal when zoomed in, but it turns back to original mesh when zoomed out. 1 picture is zoomed in and 2 is zoomed out

Hi. What is the size of the textures? Did you use dds? If yes, did you check "Generate mipmaps"?

This is a dds plugin for photoshop, it’s not in s4s. Sometimes the object turning black when you zoom out is a sign of not generated mip maps. If you made the textures in png, that that is not it. Anyway, please share the package file

If you were to look at the maps of the the original package, you'd see that they are, first, of different size, second, look different. While you can resize maps, they should be of the same size ( as in, if your diffuse is 1024x1024, then normal and specular should be as well ). Also, do not import the diffuse instead of the specular, the object will have weird shine We have videos on here showing how to make proper maps ( 1, 2 ) I cannot check the file in-game rn bc my game wont load for some reason, but try this. If won't work, we'll have to wait for people who are more expereinced in object making

Specular, bump and diffuse maps can be of different sizes.
I've checked your package in the game. It looks normal. Please check the shared package. Perhaps you have several versions.
