Hi I'm trying to export animations from the base game and downloaded packages so I can modify them in Blender. I've followed the tutorial in sims4studio.com/thread/18485/extract-animationI exported a couple of clips from a package, and reimported them to make a new package. Reloaded the package, and the Studio>Clips tab showed that it contains the expected clips. If I select a clip and the required rig and hit export, I get a .blend file. However, when I open it in Blender 2.79 - its empty apart from a few lights and a camera. I've tried selecting the other clip - same result. I've also clicked Animation to create a new package, then Studio>Clips to create either a blank animation or extract an animation from the base game. The result is always the same. Indeed, using a file comparison program, it says all the files are binary identical - no mesh, rig or animation data. I've checked that Blender has a the Sims4Studio Import-Export add-on enabled, and it does. I've been through this help forum and seen the suggestion that 2.79 may not be the best version to be using. So I downloaded 2.70 and changed the S4S settings - this time Blender (2.70) doesn't appear to have received the Python script (its not an option in user preferences). So at the moment I'm a bit stuck. Any suggestions? Hi. You need to change the path to the location of 2.70, then re-export the animation and re-open it. If this won't help, move s4s and blender to the d drive, then change the path again

Thanks for the quick response.
Yes, that's fixed it.
I uninstalled Blender and S4S and reinstalled them both on the D drive. Exporting an animation created a 'sensible' size .blend file (2M rather than 100K), which loaded with a mesh and a working animation. Result!
Thanks again
