hi, actually this my first time trying make a mesh from scratch but i have some issues.
first off all i use adobe substance 3d painter for uv and maps. i exported it then i replaced dst images where located at warehouse tab on s4 studio. but now it has a really bad gloss on it. how can i fix it?
Hi. In ts4 specular maps do not work like they do in substance painter or other software.
You should clone a table that has the shine you're going for, export the specular map as dds(easier to understand), study it, and recreate to fit your uvs. You can learn more about ts4 speculars here but it is not necessary to understand that to create one
Also, it is best to not use images this big for items that are not extremely big or detailed ( like food stalls). The normal and specular maps certainly do not need to be this big
