Hi!
So, I've been using Studio for quite some time now, but it seems I keep missing some things about it, so I created a thread to just asks various random questions to you guys :
1) First one it's about alpha hair and how it previews in Studio itself. I'm not asking about how it is possible to make alpha hair here, I just want to know how do some people have this :
Instead of this :
Because when I want to recolor alpha hair it's very difficult to actually see what I'm doing since the alpha channel seems to not affect the mesh in Sims4Studio?
2) Is it possible to extract a pose that is from the game itself ? Like I would like to override a CAS pose using one of the basegame poses, but once I have found the pose I want to use in the pose list, and I make a package, then extract it and open it up in blender, I only get the default game pose (like the one used by the mannequin in Studio). I understand why, but I can't find any option to actually just select a pose and extract it so I can use it for another pose. Not sure if I make sense here, but basically I just want to copy/paste a pose from one place to another. ^^
3) Also, I've been seing people being able to texture referecing a custom recolor of a hair to a certain other hair (Maxis one or not) but I didn't find any tutorial covering that ? I know studio now offers the possibility to not include textures if for example we just want to make a mesh edit. But this is not the same case : let's say I have a custom hair mesh that uses textures from another custom hair mesh. I already recolored the "Master" custom mesh, now I want to do the same with the "Slaved" mesh without re-import every single texture, so that way the second file is lighter. How can I do that?
Thanks for any help I could get with those questions!
