I searched also about this all day,yes for some worked but not for everyone. And I also tried Fraps but I realized the quality is even worse than the screenshot taken by game(with "C" key in game). I found another one which is windows' default app(xbox app)and it's called game bar.but that again only works in windowed mode and when I wanted to take screenshots in fullscreen, the photo just turned to a blank white photo. Now I'm using the same method for screenshotting XD

yeah, mine is also like that,it's the "prt sc" button for taking a full screen screenshot but when I go into the game and I press the button, nothing happens. But when I do it outside of the game and in desktop,it works.actually it only works when it's in windowed mode.

Hi,I just noticed something!
I took some screenshots of my sims and when I wanted to edit the shot in photoshop,I noticed it was too low quality that I couldn't even delete the background.I've been playing sims 4 for almost 2 years but I'm noticing it now :D
My graphics is also set to ultra. In game everything looks fine but I don't know why the screenshots are terribly bad quality ,do you even have this issue or not?bc I see ppl share their photos and they're looking really good but mine is not. please help me,It just makes me so freak out!!!! XO

Thank you, Mathcope, I already guessed that too I did the way you say and it worked fine But I wanted to see if is it possible to just replace them, instead of joining them together? Because sometimes selection is a hard and confusing job!

Hey,thank you for this great tutorial!I tried to do this but I faced a problem in step 12.If you have merged the items, then how can we delete them?I mean if I delete them the earrings will be deleted too,we merged them in the previous step,so if I delete sunglasses then the earrings will be gone too! Can u help me with this?I'm confused!

Yes and thank you,for creating objects' texture I didn't have any problems but for making accessories yes,bc it had to be in 1024x2048 size, but without reducing the resolution of the image,I couldn't save the image in .dds format.

Thank you Feyona ,Here's the screenshots,in this picture the resolution is set to 72(pixels\inch)and the image quality is low, but here the resolution is set to 300(pixels\inch) and as you see the image quality is the same as before and original one.It doesn't matter if you do this before resizing or after that,it always works. sorry but I'm not so professional at photoshop, but I did this and solved my problem. But there was a problem while I wanted to save the file as .dds, there was an error that was saying the image size should be multiple of four, like when you export the uv layout in blender, the image's size is compatible with S4S,but in this case wasn't. I hope this was useful and the problem which I mentioned can be solved.

Hi,I found out the solution and finally solved it and I thought it isn't bad to share it here too,I changed the image resolution in Image--->Image size from 72 to 300,And it worked and the resolution of the image didn't change. It works for very high res images too. also note that I found it in a website, not myself :D

Try this. Before resizing , convert it into smart object. Right click on the layer of the image ---> Convert it into Smart Object then resize the smart object using Free Transform tool. I found it helpful. But there would be a bit of a compromise in image quality. Note: Do your edit work on the image before you go to smart object. Else you have to raster it again will sure be a loss in quality. hope that helps Thank you for the help, but it didn't work either :( I did everything you told but it looks the same.
