Hi, Andrew. In my control panel, it says the version is 2.70.

I have successfully exported my cloned mesh and opened it in blender. However, I am not seeing any S4S tools in Object Mode. Can anyone tell me where I went wrong?

Not sure if this is the appropriate forum section for this, but here goes... I've been playing around with the newly released TSRW tool this weekend. Can I just say "Ugh"? Is S4S going to eventually incorporate a buy/build object creation component? I sure hope so! I've gotten used to S4S's lovely UI and "error free-ness," and TSRW is just killing me. Truly. And I haven't even gotten delved into the special instructions for creating multiple swatches yet... Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for all the work that went into creating and releasing TSRW. But, S4S rocks my socks (slinks out quietly while trying not to offend anyone)

Regarding editing the bump for recolors - I found this out tonight and wanted to share it in case it helps other people... Sometimes textures are built into objects via the bump that will affect your recolors. For example, I recolored the Form and Function Coffee table to look generally less BLAH. There is a wicker basket under the table that I recolored to look like a fabric basket. I couldn't tell it in S4S, but there is actually wicker texture built in to the bump map. When I started taking pictures in game and editing them for a preview, I noticed the wicker still showing up. It can't be seen from every angle, but it's there. Checked the bump, and, sure enough, I found the wicker texture built in there. For objects, that's NEVER something we would have had to think about in Sims 3. So... as a rule when recoloring to change material types (like wicker to fabric) on the object, I'd suggest taking a peek at the bump before finalizing just to make sure there aren't any hidden surprises there

You know... I don't honestly remember. It was back on January 2nd that the .packages were created, and I just started testing them this week. Should I try making a new file in the latest version of Alice?
EDIT TO ADD - Ok. I made a test package with Alice 2.1.1.2 and tried it out. I zoomed in and out. Panned around and couldn't reproduce the black aura. The only difference is that the previous version had two packages and used the object catalog Prototype ID to make all the recolors show up together.

I made some recolors of the plastic looking living chair with brighter colors and a bit of fabric texture on it. They're causing a weird effect in game though. They have black shooting off of them. This black "aura" (for lack of a better word) happens when zooming in and out as well. Could just be my graphics card, but I don't want to put them out in the world if there's some fatal flaw with them. Thanks to anyone who can help
