I would try to through troubleshooting tips, and first repair the game, second delete My documents/Sims 4 Studio folder so program will generate a new one (after repairing the game). Technically files are working, so I guess it’s an issue with installation. You can delete entire bottom part of the sofa. No one will see it in the game.

mattosama hat's emission map is mapped in specific area. Incorrect emission map may cause visual differences. See my explanation about emission map in hats.

Clothing items and hair use different shaders. That's why they will look different colours. I don't know if you can get both to look alike. They don't. All EA's clothes and hair have the same simskinshader. Alpha hair uses simglass shader. In the meshes like mentioned above simskin shader is used.

It imports without any errors, just takes longer due to high amount of polygons.

Share both files: .package and .blend that gives an error. Something is wrong with one of the files, in majority cases it's .blend.

DXT5 is the only compression that .dds file should be saved in. I can't help more without seeing the files and pictures.

There is no need for anyone to use an outdated version of Studio and we cannot support more than one Windows version and one Mac version at a time unless one is community tested. Why are you asking for an older version? Studio (Harmony) has gotten a lot of new code since the patch to get it compatible with everyone's computer. I suggest you give the latest version (3.0.1.3) a try. Hi! I have an older Mac and unfortunately can't have the new update. I really need the older version so that I can use the studio Every time with a big patch some sims resources get completely updated (in simple words), this is the time when both versions of Studio get a major update, otherwise it wouldn't be able to read game files. All old version of Studio are considered retired after new version is released.

It doesn't look as an override. You need to clone the hair by choosing Mesh -> Override. Each cas part name contains your creator's name at the beginning (anon_yfHair_EF03TragicClown_Black) when it suppose to look like yfHair_EF03TragicClown_Black. I just double checked by creating an override file.

I don't know why but Occult:Spellcaster tag simply disappeared from S4S. To fix it for now just have to add it manually by choosing Occult as category and paste 2279 into TagValueNumber. TagValue will change to "", but it didn't make any problem for me. Maybe you can help me; I have the same question! I have never used SFS to update anything manually, but have been having this issue with spellcasters. It is so problematic that, since I have default eyes, I cannot access eyes at ALL for spellcasters. When I go into S4S, the editable part is labeled "CAS Part" as far as I can tell. There are multiple files with this title; do I need to make allowances for every single one? I hope I made sense and thank you for any help you can provide! I would be hopeful for an update for these eyes from the creator but they are no longer in the community. Yes. Each cas part contain an information about particular swatch. If you want all swatches to show up on spell casters you need to add the tag for each cas part resource.

Chokers are really tricky. You need to have an impeccable uv_1, and looks like that with data transfer there is no way to get it. We can get away with clothes, but not witch chokers. All creators remove uv_1 and scale choker up so it doesn't clip with bigger necks. You can get better weights by following this tutorial. What I do next is select a vertice, check its weight, and then assign entire ring of vertices that number (edge loop is a better term). I do this for each loop. Then I extract any CAS pose animation, append the necklace and check how it works with an animation. After fighting for a good few weeks with necklaces I haven't found the way to create that perfect uv_1 that would work for a necklace.
