Redo it again. If everything is done properly it will work. You can share your files (blend and package) so someone may take a look at them. But advice will be the same. Redo weights and apply correct vertex colors, and it will work.

Don't use someone else's custom content for transferring weights. It can have wrong weights in the first place. EA's weights are always better. Transfer from nude top mesh, and remove extra bones that aren't present in original mesh that you cloned. For example you cloned a necklace which has neck, spine2 and head bones. Remove all other bones except these 3 after transferring weights from a nude mesh. If you still get distortion then you will need to manually weight paint the mesh in the spots where you get distortion.

mikota studio will not be updated for 2.8. It works only with 2.70 or 2.76. Append your mesh in either of those versions and finish in there.

In diffuse file you have texture and transparency. Get eraser, erase that texture and you will receive the file with no diffuse, just transparent level. I don't know how else to explain it.

RainbowAlipaca it is a very easy fix. You just need to paint your diffuse map in white, size it down to 512x1024 and save as spec.mask. Then delete everything making a completely transparent file and save as spec either in .png or in .dds. But I prefer working in .png. Never ignore specular file for full body items that are mapped in the same area with tights, this way specular will never show on the top of clothing.

OOOHH, so that where they come from, i thought that was a problem with original textures. It should be a sort layer thing but according to this everything is fine
sigma1202 no, that's not how it works. Stockings, clothing, high boots, skin, etc, all use this space. What is being shown above what is decided by sort layers Oh, i actually didn't know about this, it must be an EA bug then There is absolutely no need in squeezing and moving uv map. This is not EA's bug, this is a mistake on user's end and it is easily fixed with making a proper specular map.

you need to edit all maps, the sparkles come from your specular map My specular map is blank, is that possibly why? Yes, this is exactly why it happens. If you don't want your dress to have any shine you still need to make custom blank specular map where spec file will be blank, and spec.mask will be white-black. This is how game knows that there should be no specular in particular areas when they overlap with other clothes. Sort layer tells the game in what order to render only diffuse textures.

solxxx It is not a general problem. The only way you could contribute is by finding faulty files and sharing them for investigation with the team. But since you want to fix them yourself then please do.
