Found the issue. I don't know if anyone has had this issue but the door lock mod found on MTS seems to clash with MCCC. Its the only thing that when removed, MCCC stopped showing script errors. Just FYI

Anyone else getting an error script for MCCC? It doesn't seem to be effecting my game or the MCCC itself. Not sure why I am getting it as I have run MCD and nothing arises. I have not added anything new to my game either.

I am trying my hand at pose making. I have S$S harmony and it seems to only work with blender 2.70a. Problem is, after i set the key fram (first one to 2,second to 60) my sims does NOTHING. It does not take on the pose. Any thoughts?

Which version of Blender should I be using with the current version of S4S??? I have been trying to make poses but one version of blender (2.70) isn't even acknowledged, the other (2.70a) works great except when it comes time to put it in my game, the pose doesn't do anything????

I am having a similiar problem??? I have 2.70 installed but when I go to create a new pose it tells me it can not find blender and asks if I want to download it now. But then it downloads 2.70a. When I make a pose, it does nothing in game.

wow, it does. So you must have a lot of CC? Do people generally use lots of CC files. I have read in forums some people have thousands or more Some people have thousands and thousands.... LOL. And then even more. I have a pretty cheap laptop.... so I have to be careful. but by merging files that's helping. Another example, all my bathroom sets (which is all the ones on TSR) merged in to one was only 149,725 KB. No where near the million it takes for a GB. For me, the issue I found were more so in makeup, clothing and hair CC, so I will definitly be more picky when choosing those.

IIRC, an EA representative said the functional limit to the size of a single package is about 4 gig (don't quote me though, that was a long time ago). However, the game files themselves do not contain a package larger than about 1 gig. I would not recommend making any package larger than the largest one in the game files. I second what inabadromance said, you should retain a backup of individual packages just in case later you want to remove or add content or in case something goes wrong. The easiest way to do this is to move all the individual packages in your Mods folder to a folder in a safe place after you have merged them. How do I know how big each merged file is not more than 24? A byte is 8 bits. A kilobyte is 1024 bytes. A megabyte 1,024 kilobytes or 1,048,576 bytes. A gigabyte is 1,024 megabytes or 1,048,576 kilobytes. A terabyte is 1,024 gigabytes or 1,048,576 megabytes. I found this a long time ago. You can go in to your documents folder and it will show you the size of your packages. For example, I just merged all my dining room stuff. my package is 481,570 KB. Which is no where near one gig and I had 199+ files in that one single merge. Does that help? I am personally trying to stay under 200 files per merge to stay safe.

hunnybee hi hunny! In theory, the less packages the game has to read to load, the faster it will run. So by merging say 40 packages in 1, then it should make the game run faster. But that's only the tip of the iceberg, you should also consider the machine you have and the requirements of the game. If you ever decide to merge your files (or your daughter's) you should always keep the individual packages saved and backed up somewhere in case something happens. Also back up of your saves folder, tray, screenshot. Having those precautions never hurt anybody I second that. I had a pretty bad crash. I had so many currupted files I HATED SIMS4... But luckily I was talking to some people who advised me about merging files, S4S for testing. I keep track of everything I DL, and have a back up folder of files on my desktop, Just in case something goes wrong.

Sims 4 Studio is able to merge files since a long time from now and it's also really easy to use. Not saying S4PE can't be useful but it is usually easier to get lost in that UI rather than with Studio's tool which is really user friendly in my opinion. To merge files with Studio you can go to Tools/Merge Packages, a pop up will open and you can drag or select the files you'd like to merge, you then save the file and it's done. Wow, I just tried it (actually had S4S and didn't realize it) and its so much fasterr than S4PE.... thank you!!!!!
