I've tried this too, but had no success with rotating the seating rigs. Have you thought about using the dine out booth rigs for your sectional sofa? There is a corner booth that would be great I think. Technically your lounge would not be a sofa or loveseat, though.

I've never shared a lot so I have to admit I don't even know how the process works. Does creating the lot for sharing automatically pull any custom content on the lot into the .package? if it's the same as the sims 3 when you share a lot or sim any cc gets packed up with it. I don't think so... From my experience you need to have the mods in your game for them to show up in the downloaded lot. Although I'm new to CC creating, and it hasn't happened to me yet (that I know of), it grinds my gears when builders upload their mods folders with a build. When I see it happening I IM them, and also reblog letting my followers know who NOT to DL from. Too many hours go into creating for others to take your content :/

Thanks for this tutorial I applied the same principles to adding different specular and normal maps to an Override, as well as keeping the originals. It seemed to work well

What have you tried so far? I've not tried anything much like this, but I would first raise the rig in blender and transfer the position height values to the rig in S4S (make sure to use "rig sync" command) and see what happens lol

I don't have the movie pack, but I've checked out the table you mentioned. Perhaps I can help, what is your problem?

thank you for replying tsarder , and no, I cloned a base game, stand type mirror (not a wall mirror) with phong and flat mirror shaders,and changed the phong to phong aplpha, before importing my mesh

I'm making a coffee table that is basically an phong alpha box, with mirrored planes on the ends and top (pics below). My issues are that the reflection seems incorrect (notice the end mirror is reflecting the painting behind it, not what is placed in front of it) and that a white strip intersects the mirror plane on the ends, I'm not not sure whats causing it. Does anyone know what setting I need to change to fix this?

I know just how you feel about uploading! But do it!!!! You'll be surprised at how not bad your stuff really is, even if you're still learning. I'm learning too, and sometimes lol at my own creations, but it's ok, it's progress, and that should be celebrated On topic, I use media fire and simfileshare, both are great

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried that, but to no avail, the texture still seems to mirror :(

I've had some success scaling the fire, YAY!!!!! Peacemaker directed me to the scale field in the edit bones screen, you can see my scale is now 3,0.05,0.05. it does appear that the X axis is the one responds to the scaling best though. Comparison pic below (apologies for the crappy quality I've just removed the sweet fx mod from my game :'( )

Apologies if this has previously been answered.
I want to recolor one of the 5x5 rugs, but the texture multiplies itself so that only 1 quarter is required (does that make sense?) What do I need to change so that the texture is singular? I don't want the texture to have to multiple itself to cover the mesh.

@dea0rn
Lol that's exactly my next step too!! I've decided to use the candle flame too, I'll come back if I can get it to work.

I've been playing around a little, but no success yet :/ I've given up on reducing the size, and working on just duplicating the fire effect. That's not yet working either, but seems like a possibility. Is there anyone who has effectively duplicated other effects and made them work in game? Is it possible to perhaps import a lighting rig with multiple effects and change them? For example a candle rig
