These are just solid colors from my pallet so it shouldn't interfere with the recolor. I do use standalone and I also have all of the original objects in my game. It doesn't make sense to me that a simple recolor should not show up and it only does it on conversion items. Thank you for trying to help.

Thank you but I know how to do all of that. The only problems I seem to have is recolors of the conversion objects. New meshes and ea objects recolors are fine. All the swatches show my color pallet but when I try to use them I get the original objects. Thanks for trying to help though.

I have been trying to recolor some of my content that is a conversion of TS2 or 3. It looks fine in S4S but when I put it in the game the recolors don't show just the original object over and over. I've tried redoing the recolor png and it does the same thing. None of the other recolors of new meshes or the walls and wall hangings I've done have this problem. Is there something I can do to fix this?

Can the trims for the pool be recolored? If so where can I find them in S4S.

Can these be recolored and if so where the heck do I find them to export them? I've looked through all the content is S4S.

Thank you, I will try those. I'm still trying to get up the courage to convert myself.
I already had one of those but I grabbed the other as well.

I can do the wall hangings off of the EA mesh. It works perfectly. I need the bolts of fabric, threads etc. that make it look like a real quilt shop does. My mother owned a quilt shop and taught quilt lessons to many including me. That is why it is so important to me.

I would very much like to recreate my quilt shop from Sims 2 for my Sims 4 game. I have some files from an artist named cocoamama that posted them on Mod the Sims. She is no longer active or she has a different screen name. I can do the recolors I need but I am too bumfuzzled to try and convert them myself. Just looking at the tutorial brings fear to my heart. You can see pictures of my quilt shop here xmasqueen.tumblr.com/. I have already done some quilts but haven't quite gotten the nerve to share yet...besides I have to decide what host I'm going to use to do so and get some pictures etc. done. I would indeed much appreciate any help.

Me too....well sort of. lol I think I spend more time looking at content in S4S than actually playing. I have at least been making some quilts for my game and walls as well.

I would caution you about clearing/deleting unwanted cc. I got into the S4S program and started going through the items one by one thinking I'd just delete them from there. Indeed, I was able to delete them BUT in doing so I was often deleting a mesh I needed for a recolor...and didn't recognize that was why I had it in the first place. BTW - I have no idea just how much cc you are currently running but let me tell you....it takes my game over 30 minutes to load and the mods file tells me there are nearly 12,000 files (200 of those are folders). SOOOOO, I'm betting you have less lol :-/ Oh my, you have no idea. lol I do have more than that and it takes my game forever to load. I call myself a cc hoarder. lol I've done the same thing a couple of times but figured it out when a rc object was red in the game and downloaded it again. It would really be helpful if meshes were identified by the creator so numnuts like me wouldn't delete them.

:D I swear not more than 10 minutes ago I downloaded that tray importer. Had not even heard of it but saw it on another site and thought I'd try it out. Love it! I can't even put it on the sim in game, it just doesn't show up. I don't remember which items I reasigned in the children's clothing but I know in the adults I did delete things I didn't like. I'll give your suggestions a try. I went through all of my content to get rid of stuff I didn't like and to make sure which items might be a problem so that I could merge my content. I've done all of it but the clothing and I need to solve this problem before I can merge that. I'm almost ashamed to admit how much content I have. :

Thank you. I have also run the batch fix for CAS and it says I don't have anything to be fixed. I'm baffled that's for sure.
