Hello there, So, I wanted to convert a pair of shoe I created (to be honest it was half frankmeshed half modified) for the sims 3. Worked out pretty well but I have a visible seam at the ankle. It is mainly visible when using tights so with a darker skin color. When I modified the mesh, I merged the vertices at the top of the mesh with the vertices from a EA pair of shoes so that I get the same vertices position at the ankle. I have this seam nonetheless. So my guess is maybe that it is related to bone assignement or the UV1 maybe. I tried to create the UV1 properly but as I cannot scale the shoe in game, I guess it didn't work :p I am not a perfectionist and never really perfectly fixed the small issues I have on the stuff I create but I think I could maybe try to make things right for once. Cause I was thinking of maybe covering it up by cloning the top faces shrinking them a little and invert the normals on them so that instead of emptiness we would actually see the inner texture (which would be the same as the outside one) which as a result should mainly cover the issue. If someone as an idea. EDIT : I actually just did a test and I guess I have the same issue as on the sims3 xD the morphing doesn't work on the shoes. So If I got it right the morphing comes from the UV1 or the UV1 only handles the sliders ? (I thought it was kinda the same) EDIT 2 : Ok.. So I confused with my first try where I created a UV1. I don't have one here, so, I'm gonna do that already

SimsNCoffee are there any tutorial from start to finish of how to create something then get it in game with MD5? Hi! I am learning myself. When I completely learn I'll make one for TS4 Hello there, @cakewaffles I was wondering if you would share your rig again as the link above is long dead. Sorry for resurecting the post :p

yunanesca Hey, thanks for the answer. Seems I will have to think carefully on which piece of furniture I wanna use for my sitting poses then as I don't wanna have to remove the footprint on tons of them ^^ (And knowing myself I love to try a lot of different combinations sooo :p) For the sims 3 poses, I am well aware of existing ones but I was using more than 300 different ones on the sims 3 and I really loved some specific ones. Anyway I guess I could redo them myself, I was just trying to save myself some time here as being a bit of a perfectionist when making poses :p

Hey guys,
Got 2 quick questions :
- Might sounds stupid but I cannot figure out how to use sitting poses involving objects. Sitting on a simple chair for example. even with bb.moveobjects on whenever I drop the furniture under my sim, he gets automatically moved next to it and out of the pose -_-
- Is there a way to simply convert sims 3 poses to sims 4 poses ? If not yet could it be under development ? (Would be quite awesome as there were so many created)
Thanks :D
