*UPDATE* So I've figured out how to get the S4Studio Blender Tools in newer versions of Blender, however I realized that it's causing this awful desaturation. I've heard some people have encountered this issue as well and some haven't. Here's what Blender is supposed to look like: Here's what it looks like desaturated: Thanks in advance!

Hi. On the download page it says that s4s is compatible only with 2.70 and 2.76. However, I use 2.78 and it works fine. You could try downloading it, should be able to change the path. Hi! I just tried and it does work, however I'm still getting the same script error in Blender unfortunately when I try to install the S4Studio tools from the file in "User Preferences".

Hi! Recently my Blender 2.70 started acting strange. There's this awful desaturated affect on it now which makes it hard to see what I'm working on. I took it upon myself to download a different Blender (2.77) and I'm trying to add the S4Studio script into Blender 2.77 an keep getting this error when I go to activate it: I've tried changing the Blender path in S4S an it just keeps telling me to download Blender 2.70 when I try and export a mesh. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Aleesha, the Harmony version of Studio introduced the beginning of the un-merge feature by including a new resource in merged packages. This resource, the manifest, contains the information Studio needs to un-merge a merged package. Without that manifest, un-merging would be a somewhat hit or miss process (Studio would be making guesses about some content and resources) that could result in damaged content. For this reason, Studio will not include a feature that involves un-merging merged packages that do not have a manifest. Okay thanks for the reply! I'd rather be safe than sorry! Still loving the tool!

Hi! Quick question! So when I try and put some of my merged packages in I get this pop up message: I've never used another tool to merge packages but I do have packages in there that are definitely merged in the first version when S4S released package merging. Is this going to be fixed or is it not possible? Thanks!

I've been creating for a long time, and I've never had this issue and I've used the same process for as long as I remember. Although it's been a while since I created so probably forgot to do something or missed something like my absent minded self does once in a while. Anyway, I'm just having an issue with this shirt mesh. It's gotta be something with the specular or normals, right? Yeah I've been messing with it for days and just figured why not ask for help on the forum. Here's the blend and package files. Thanks a lot in advance guys I hate to be a pest with this stuff.

While waiting for your .package, I immediately noticed a major issue with your mesh. The back side of your skirt is completely black, meaning it won't be visible in game: 1. Select the area that is black (You can see the black areas by going into "Solid" at the bottom for the texture view) 2. On the left hand side, select "Shading/UVs" 3. Select "Flip Direction" You could select the entire mesh and click "Recalculate", but sometimes that doesn't work properly. If you still find some stray black areas, select those pieces and redo the steps I just explained. Now the back of your skirt should like like this I also noticed that your mesh has 2 rigs. Delete the rig that says "rig.001"

How many mesh pieces were separate in Blender (ex: s4studio_mesh_0, s4studio_mesh_1, s4studio_mesh_2). This usually happens when you don't have the same amount of pieces with the mesh you edited or used as a reference if that makes any sense.
Re-read the top and saw you said there was two. So you'll have to just split the pole into two separate objects like the mesh you edited was if you don't plan on adding any curtain later. If you don't that'll keep appearing.

UPDATE: THE NEW S4S VERSION 3.0.0.7 FIXED MY ISSUE RIGHT UP! I SUGGEST IF YOU HAD A WEIGHT ISSUE WITH CLOTHING TO MAKE A NEW PACKAGE AND RE-IMPORT THE MESH IN THE NEW VERSION!!!

Hi! So I made a mesh the same way I usually do instead I made a toddler dress. I don't know what's wrong but the dress just makes the whole toddler disappear when I put it on her, and the thumbnail turns the dress purple and has no arms for the toddler. I'd post a picture but there's really nothing to see since the toddler just disappears LOL Here's the .blend and .package! Thanks so much in advance!!
